The check in staff was very friendly and the room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. The hotel is very close to the train station and a short walk to Petit France. The only downside to the hotel is the breakfast area, I made the mistake of walking in because I saw a coffee machine, while in the room a lady came out an informed me, not in a polite way, that the area was closed and if I wanted coffee to go to the bar. I went to the bar and no one was working. Had to leave the hotel and I found a Starbucks nearby.

Room was in a very quiet part of the hotel, so sleeping was great. Breakfast was diversified and delicious. I would give a rate 10 if it wasn't for the accident at the check-out - receptionist charged me for breakfast, although it was included in my booking. So, reminder for next time bring printed confirmation of booking with you.

Very disappointed. With our welcome drink voucher we were told one per room. At other Accor hotels in Europe we were not given one drink per room. At Nimes and Nice Accor hotels two years ago, we were given two for two guests in one room. At Nice we were given free croissants and staff friendlier. The older lady at reception was also abrupt and her tone intimidating when she said one welcome drink per room. Late checkout request was also replied in bold condescending tone! Made us feel like we were begging or beggars asking for charity when we are probably richer than her.

Everything was wonderful, especially the hotel staff including Patricia and Clemence. Our daughter was injured before we arrived in Strasbourg, but they ensured our visit was still memorable in a good way. We will be back!
