OUR STAY EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS. THE FRONT DESK WAS FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. THEY PROVIDED US WITH 3 OUTSTANDING RESTAURANT RECOMMENDATIONS & BEYOND. I FORGOT MY CELL PHONE IN LYON AFTER OUR DEPARTURE TO PARIS. THE STAFF AT THE CARLTON WAS INSTRUMENTAL IN RETRIEVING & SHIPPING THE CELL PHONE TO MY HOTEL IN PARIS. MY DEEPEST GRATITUDE TO THE ENTIRE STAFF.

We had a lovely stay at the Carleton Hotel Lyon. We had a "cozy" room, which was small, but it was well appointed and we loved the little balcony overlooking the square. The beds and linens were exceptionally comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. The staff were helpful in answering questions and arranging transportation for us. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Centrally located, overall nice experience. Just a pity a false fire alarm went off at 6h30 in the morning.

We would definitely return to the Carlton! The staff was wonderful, the breakfast was good and thy have a very nice hotel bar. They don't have a dinner restaurant but the hotel is surrounded with delicious dining options. Our room had a terrace overlooking the square. We loved it.

We had a lovely stay at the beautiful Hotel Carlton. Rooms were very large, comfortable and stocked full of many amenities. Staff was very helpful and courteous. Breakfast offered many options and was convenient, but quality was surprisingly so-so. We would definitely stay there again.

Warm welcome upon arrival. Although we arrived a little before the formal check in time we were pleased to find that our room was ready. Very pleased with our large and clean bedroom/bathroom. Breakfast choices plentiful. Hotel is in a very good, safe location. Would definitely stay here again.

It was just OK. The staff was friendly and the room comfortable and quiet, but cleanliness was just so-so. The hotel has a musty smell and several areas in my room needed attention. The shower has an odd entry and is very slippery. Using the rubber mats is a must. It could certainly have been better designed. I also experienced a broken elevator and once I was taken up in the service elevator, felt trapped in my room many floors up until the next morning. No attempt was made to report on its status. Breakfast was just OK...plenty of selection, but some of it looked past its prime.
