Overall, we had a pleasant stay at Hotel Mercure in Nuremberg. The room was comfortable and clean, and the breakfast selection was very good—plenty of fresh options to start the day. Unfortunately, the experience at the bar was disappointing. The bartender was not friendly, which really stood out compared to the otherwise warm and professional service from the rest of the staff. With some improvement in hospitality at the bar, this could have been an excellent stay.

A tired hotel that is in need of a full refurbishment. The staff were friendly and helpful and the buffet breakfast was excellent, though need to get there early as when it's gone that's it. It's location was the main reason for staying as easy to drive to without going into the city centre. Disappointed that guests are charged for parking when there is free parking close by (but you only know that after you arrive). Room furnishings were tired, plastic mattress protector. Very tired furnishings, bathroom door wouldn't close, congealed barbecue sauce in the bin, bed headboard had holes in, plastic chair smelt of old sweat. Staff very helpful and friendly. Excellent location without having to drive in to the city centre itself. Breakfast was good but food not replenished when we went down for a late breakfast on sunday
