During my stay at IBIS Brussels Expo Atomium, someone from the hotelstaff disturbed me on during my stay by opening the door to enter the my room on sunday morning 09.14 (18-4-2021) . After, I was unhappy. When I checked out at 12h, the manager (Mr. Stephan V. W......) was not around. So, I left a letter. Monday morning the manager did contact me at 09.52 and we talked about the situation. I have asked for a partial refund because I did not fully enjoyed. The manager said that a ''sorry'' should be enough and that I have to accept it that it happened. After, he still refused any compensation and he took my request to personal. I mention to him that he should find a solution and that he don't need to act on personal lvl. Because he stands for the company IBIS. After that, he assumed that his colleague Ms. Fernanda (that worked on Sunday) offered me a 'free breakfast' and that I had denied it. That is not true, and I tried to tell hem multiple times. Mr. Stephan stand to his decision and took it to personal. I have said that I would write a review. Which he replied with: '' Are you threatening? A mistake from our side can happen and you have to deal with it, because you want only your money back". This words really shocked me. After he refused again and we stopped the conversation. Now, from unhappy, i am extremely dissatisfied. I hope some one from IBIS will hear me out and reach out to me with a solution. This review/complain is not only about the fact that I did not enjoyed my full stay, but also on the customer service of the hotel manager. Best regards, Mohamed

Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was very small and quite dirty, matress was very bad and moved a lot when trying to sleep. Shower was powerful and good hot water. They only ‘cleaned’ the room before we arrived the next day the cleaner did not enter. We had two teas from the bar that cost 7€ very expensive in most hotels there’s a kettle in the room and some tea and milk is complementary. Well located hotel.

The is a potential problem with the shower - the floor has no “ grips “ and has the possibiliyt of a bad fall. The shower head was a little loose, and difficult to keep the water flowing. I didn’t think of reporting this to reception, I’m sure they would have taken care of it if I had mentioned it. They were very nice and helpful.

The hotel is not well located, plus there is no safety box in the room, no breakfast, the restaurant is closed, we had to walk to Carrefour 800 m to bring something to eat and go many stations to have coffee. This is the first hotel i visit in my life with no coffee. Plus, during our last night there was no hot water to shower, they had a problem. And it was expensive for just a bed and shower with nothing more. To not forget the room is super small we were two with our luggage we were barely moving in the room. So overall i don't recommend this hotel and specially this branch.

The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly. Parking was not a problem and it was only a 5-10 minute walk to Brussels Expo. The room was quite small and not very modern but perfectly ok for 1-2 nights. The hotel bar was opened 24/24. Breakfast was ok. The noise insulation was a bit of an issue, as we could hear quite some noise from other rooms and from people talking and smoking in front of the hotel entrance.

Comfortable rooms and clean. Excellent breakfast buffet. The beds were very comfortable. Location with great access to central Brussels. It was in a very quiet neighborhood. The staff were very helpful with directions and were pleasant and courteous.

You can not rest when you have AC machines bellow room 326, working all day/night and windows did not close properly. This is something probably advised to management before! I expected more from Ibis, especially when I have slept really well before.
