Overall, it was a good experience. Friendly staff, willing to help. Small touches needed, on things that starts to show their age (e.g. doors that need some repaint or grease).

During my stay at IBIS Brussels Expo Atomium, someone from the hotelstaff disturbed me on during my stay by opening the door to enter the my room on sunday morning 09.14 (18-4-2021) . After, I was unhappy. When I checked out at 12h, the manager (Mr. Stephan V. W......) was not around. So, I left a letter. Monday morning the manager did contact me at 09.52 and we talked about the situation. I have asked for a partial refund because I did not fully enjoyed. The manager said that a ''sorry'' should be enough and that I have to accept it that it happened. After, he still refused any compensation and he took my request to personal. I mention to him that he should find a solution and that he don't need to act on personal lvl. Because he stands for the company IBIS. After that, he assumed that his colleague Ms. Fernanda (that worked on Sunday) offered me a 'free breakfast' and that I had denied it. That is not true, and I tried to tell hem multiple times. Mr. Stephan stand to his decision and took it to personal. I have said that I would write a review. Which he replied with: '' Are you threatening? A mistake from our side can happen and you have to deal with it, because you want only your money back". This words really shocked me. After he refused again and we stopped the conversation. Now, from unhappy, i am extremely dissatisfied. I hope some one from IBIS will hear me out and reach out to me with a solution. This review/complain is not only about the fact that I did not enjoyed my full stay, but also on the customer service of the hotel manager. Best regards, Mohamed

Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was very small and quite dirty, matress was very bad and moved a lot when trying to sleep. Shower was powerful and good hot water. They only ‘cleaned’ the room before we arrived the next day the cleaner did not enter. We had two teas from the bar that cost 7€ very expensive in most hotels there’s a kettle in the room and some tea and milk is complementary. Well located hotel.
