The state of the hotel was very different to that advertised - the lobby and staircase is in urgent need of repair, the was a bad odour of waste water and accessories control was not working meaning that general public could walk through the hotel freely. I wish I knew about that at the time of booking so that I make an informed choice rather than be falsely informed and then disappointed on my arrival. I would like to thank the reception staff for their friendliness at check in.

Location ok, within walking distance from train station. Hotel under renovation, checkin via adjacent hotel. Service could be improved. TV not functioning, despite requests/reminders. Breakfast from 7am, not 6am as stated on booking.com, which impacts travel/daytrip plans. Had to activate cards twice during the 6 day 5 night stay.

The hotel entrance is under construction. Check in process was done at Mercure hotel next door. The assigned room was well decorated and equipped with bathtub. Location is perfect, few minutes walk from north train station, right next to metro station and shopping mall. The elevator is quite small and feels dated.

the place is under re-construction. corridors smell bad. access is awkward.

The hotel seems to be undergoing renovation. You are de-toured at the entrance to enter the building through the neighboring Mercure hotel, which indeed is very nice. They also provide all the services (registration and checkout as well as breakfast). Yet, after the check in you are pointed towards a hallway where the ongoing construction is separated from you and your bags by nothing but a warning bark. During breakfast you may enjoy the sounds of this, if you're lucky. The room I had was clean, but super small. So small, that I could not be using the restroom (sorry for this detail) while having the door closed. Water in the shower never got really warm and the room wasn't made up after the first night. That got topped up with the lack of an iron on the room, while the would not have been the space to actually iron my cloth anyways. At night you will enjoy the sounds of the toilet used the floor above, while you can get every word from the conversations going on outside your room while people wait for the elevator, that takes ages to actually arrive. Waited a full 5 minutes the second morning until it finally came. When, during checkout, I gave customer feedback, pointing to some of the above while mentioning that I still was asked for paying the full price, reaction was rather justifying and defensive. I have sympathy with employees of an other hotel (Mercure) not being keen up getting roasted for the flaws of this stay, but then if suggest to be more mindful about the question "How was your stay?" ... At least, if you don't want to hear an honest response from an unsatisfied first. So, I clearly discourage booking the hotel.
