From the minute I entered the hotel foyer until I left I felt as is if the staff were always there to help out and assist me. The rooms I stayed in across the two nights were very comfortable, clean and tidy.

Sadly, all my requests (that I naively thought would be simple, as elsewhere) proved impossible to fulfil; double bed or room on a lower floor seemingly not possible despite emailing in advance. Welcome drink not available - unless guests felt like going to the adjacent Novotel (warm white wine proved undrinkable)
