Easy check in and booking but some areas are tired and our bathrooms in several rooms smelt of sewers from the sink and toilets, it was quite sickening at times. Also keys were mixed up with two of us getting the keys to the same room!!!!!

Very smart location, 10 minutes by feet till: Coventry railway station, 15 minutes to City center. Stuff really does care about everyone. Beautiful garden view. Delicious breakfast. Hopefully will be back.

All fine. The only issue I would raise is that in my en suite (Room 131) there was a noticeable smell from the drains (from the plughole I think).

Room great except for soggy patch by the door where the air conditioning had dripped. Only realised when I stood in it when I answered the door in my socks to housekeeping who was hinting for me to hurry up and leave. Check out is 12 and this was 11:15.

The accessible room is hardly big enough for a wheelchair, I have a small wheelchair and it just fitted and no more. Decent sized bathroom but it becomes an ice rink after a shower because the floor there’s nothing to prevent the water from flowing everywhere.. The toilet is very difficult to flush because it’s a small button in the corner. Light switch for the bathroom I behind the toilet door so you have to flick it before you open the door. Only positive is there’s a joining room next door. Air conditioning doesn’t work but randomly turns on in the middle of night.

The welcome we received from the Manager was great, in fact all the staff we spoke to were friendly and helpful. Parking at a good price (£8 per night), good priced good buffet breakfast (£9 per person). Twin room quite small but ideal for our needs, though the beds were both close together and quite narrow. Capsule bathroom again exactly what was needed, with a great shower, though not the biggest fan of 'floaty' toilets. Reasonable hospitality tray and a big screen TV, not a lot more that you could ask for, from a budget hotel at £120 for 2 nights. Situated, even at my pace, 10-15 minutes from the centre of Coventry. We'll definitely be using this hotel again.

Check in by a tyro was not as efficient as we are used to, our preferences had not been addressed but we were moved rooms to a satisfactory location. Not needing to use your room key to access the lift and stairs seemed insecure. The room was standard Ibis and as such came with nice bedding, towels and toiletries plus copious hot water. The room was equipped with tea and coffee but two of our UHT milks were off and in fact solid. The lack of plain yoghurt and berries in breakfast along with the watery scrambled eggs left my wife with no choices. When she enquired about the availability of porridge (which she had enjoyed a few weeks before in Sheffield) it was not possible. Like all ibis hotels the coffee machines lacked a decaff option.
