No idea I had a booking

I arrived in the evening and the hotel had no idea that I was due. I showed the receptionist my confirmation email and she tried all different options but could not locate it. I had to pay again. I have responded to the booking email to find how to get a refund but no one has contacted me. I was not able to locate a customer service email on the website. Please could someone get in touch? No complaints about the hotel and the staff were lovely and really tried to help but there is clearly a problem with the systems.

A little on the outskirts so takes an hour to get into the city but i didn’t mind at all. The area is so quiet and peaceful, the room was affordable, well sized, clean. Staff were calm and friendly. Would visit again

The lady in the reception was rude and couldn't even speak in english, I just get tired to remind her that I can not speak german in every few seconds. I had early flight, that's why I landed early and she said the room is not clean, after waiting 2 hours, she said check-in is only at 3 p.m, which she could easily let the cleaner know I'm waiting, but somehow she made it personal and didn't even try to help me. I had to wait in the reception 5 hours (hotel is not in convenient place to visit city/come back). Due to poor management, lack of communication ability and english knowledge my whole travel has been ruined!

We needed a bed for the night after travelling 12 hours from Calais, the Ibis provided this in a clean and tidy way. Room was good and opening windows a bonus, check in was lovely as was the lady on reception. No bar but the vending machine had beer and at only €2 a bottle so all good. The shower was something else, although not the biggest what it lacked in space it made up for in power!! All in all a great little stay.
