Quick overnight stay. Sadly - no kettle/tea making facilities. Breakfast starts at 7 am - which is a bit harsh for an airport hotel. Because I didn't see anyone in the check in process, I didn't realise there was a vending machine for last minute munchies in the lounge area.

I paid a premium rate comparable to that of good hotels in Berlin, but unfortunately, my stay fell short of expectations. 1. Air conditioning: The AC frequently switched to auto mode without cooling the room adequately. This disrupted my sleep several times, which was particularly concerning because I needed a good night’s rest before the marathon. The temperature controls were also confusing, with settings going down to “-3.” A standard, clearly labeled temperature setting would be more helpful. 2. No mini refrigerator: Without a mini refrigerator, I couldn’t store small food items or drinks in my room, which was disappointing. 3. No microwave: There was no microwave in the room, even a small one, making it inconvenient to heat food. 4. No phone to contact reception: I had to walk to the front desk in the middle of the night whenever I needed assistance. Given the price I paid, I expected greater comfort and convenience, especially when staying for a major event like the Berlin Marathon. 5. Your support team also stopped responding to my emails after the initial reply. This was particularly concerning while planning an international trip, when timely communication is essential to address questions and uncertainties.

Check in mandatory at check-in machine, no counter for Gold All members. No recognition at all as a Gold member. By default no room cleaning unless explicitelly requested by customer (usually it is included by default unless you ask for not cleaning the room). Small room, no glasses, no water, no the or coffee. Overall very poor service for a 230EUR/night room

Cannot use the check-in machine for half an hour, and I were not allow access the building without finishing checking in, bad workflow and experience. Eventually I got in the reception, asked about the situation, they told me there were another machine to check in differently. Very confused

Honestly not staying there ever again. Poor amenities, no iron in rooms and AC keeps shutting itself down. I came down and asked the staff to extend my stay and he told me he was fully booked. When I checked online, I was still able to reserve a room. In fact as a trial, I made over 3 bookings after the staff told me it was 'full'

Staff was very friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was good and the location easy. There was no restaurant for lunch or dinner, but with two very good ones nearby not a problem, and the bar had very good pizzas.

I was having such a bad time that stay, my flight had just got cancelled 55mins before takeoff, I was exhausted because I was awake for almost 48hrs, and desperately needed to sleep. The receptionist took one look at me and offered me an early check in, no questions asked. I couldn't have been more grateful for how compassionate they were. Will definitely be staying again on my next visit.
