Staff was very friendly, so all good her. Room was way too close to elevator, even if my Accor preferences state that I want a room farther away. So the whole night I could listen to the elevator going up and down. Also the bathroom was not as modern as it should be. Rusty in bath and not as clean as it should be. Generally I would stay away form ibis at all times but sadly there was no option this time.

I was looking for good rest before morning flight from the Schoenefeld Airport. I was satisfied with the well maintained properties, the location and the easy access to the Airport. Additionally I found decent Indians Restaurant on the same Spreestraße which I strongly recommend for all Indian kitchen lovers

I had notified the hotel that I would be arriving after 6 and eventually got there just before 7.00pm. There was nobody on reception and I had to wait nearly 5 minutes before the receptionist appeared from the lift carrying a load of electronic cables. His manner was not welcoming and he also insisted on speaking English, though my German is more than adequate (I am half Austrian). He was not at all interested in my Accor card, just how I was going to pay. Later in the evening when I was going out, I told him that the TV was not working, perhaps the controller needed batteries or exchanging, I suggested? He told me he had no batteries and declined to sort the problem out ( I later found the TV was not plugged in). Apart from the receptionist, the room was fine, though spoilt in the bathroom by a large rusted area around the plug control handle. Breakfast staff were pleasant but as this was well out of my way, I won't bother staying here again.

Situated in the middle of the road between the Schonefeld airport and downtown Berlin, the hotel is more suitable for bigger groups and events than for solo travelers. Less than 10 minutes walk to the S-bahn station and a shopping centre, half an hour ride from Alexanderplatz. A little too far from the vibe.

Hotel is in good location. Expressly you travel with car. Hotel have good parking capabilities. Paying and free parking. Staff was nice and helpful! My room was nice, clean and comfortable. Only one big minus was internet connection. It was very, very slow. The management must fix it!
