While the room was cheap and we didn’t have to stay long, we found that the room wasn’t very clean. The aircon was falling apart and had mould growing on it, the window didn’t feel safe and was taped together in sections, and there was dirt and rubbish still around the window sill and the floor.

Handy location and budget friendly price, but does this mean air conditioning unit in disrepair and lights not working is par for the course. The bathroom module was so compact, my 6'4" husband struggled to turn around. Bed comfortable but had to watch our heads on the single bunk bed over the top.

We had a restful night, with good air conditioing, room size is perfect for a quick stay, location is excellent and convenient for a quick meal and highway access, breakfast well organised and very the room price very affordable. However, we had to get past first appearances which really aren't the best having the open cleaning room the first thing that you see when you walk in and cleaning trollies in the foyer, paint sheets and paint shoved under the stairs etc. I definitely second a previous review I read about people smoking out the front, perhaps you can have a desginated smoking area that's not where people first see the motel? Cleaning of the rooms definitely needs more attention to detail - food from other people left in the freezer section of the fridge and coffee splattered on the back of the door and walls, stuff poked into the air-conditioner. I would stay here again but if I did recommend it to others I would warn them its a bit 'rough and ready' if they can get past that, it is a good stay for all the other reasons above.
