One night whilst driving through France provided a small clean quiet room and private shower room with WC. We needed nothing more.

I had booked 3 rooms and had completed the online check in. When we arrived at the hotel they couldn’t find our booking and took over 30 minutes to sort it out. The man in reception was trying his best but had to telephone head office to sort it out. This isn’t what we needed after a 15 hour drive. The rooms when we eventually got them we’re fine.

The hotel is basic but it is more than enough for a short stay. The facilities and the room were clean and the staff friendly. All in all a good experience.

It never occurred to me that a hotel would not have en-suite rooms … hotel was styleless, noisy and not a safe atmosphere

For what we needed, (a room with 3 beds for 1 night) this was good. Clean sheets on the bed. The toilets on the hallway were also clean. The loaction was just next to the highway, so easy to locate. We needed the room because of our trip to home from Spain to the Netherlands.

Easy check in after a terrible number of times trying to check in on line, what eventually succeeded! No Corona QR-check or questions at all. Not necessairy but only “We hope it will be over soon” Indeed a room with an own private shower facility. The room looked clean and the airco was working! There was a double bed inside, but room was so small that there is no possibility to open your suitcase without blocking the room door and the door to the ‘bathroom’. you can hardly walk around the bed. There was a LED TV at the wall in the corner (computer-screen size) with a remote control, This remote control was the only movable object in the room. No towels at all, and also in the shower cabine nothing, even not a plastic cup to drink some water. At least there was toilet paper and a cleaning brush for the toilet! No place to hangout your (own) towel for drying. It took 10 minutes before there was warm water, but after that it is was very hot. Sometimes alternating: a few seconds cold and burning hot again. No place to put your laptop then on your knees when lying on the bed. ONE power outlet (with a French connection) and 2 USB outlets who couldn’t be use because the lack of power. The pillows on the bed were covered between the crumpled bedsheets, like it was not used for some weeks. The room looked clean, also the bed sheets and I slept well, that;’s the most important. After asking the receptionist for a restaurant to enjoy some dinner, I was send to the big mall ‘Toison d’Or’, far away. While leaving the gate for a short walk in the neighbourhood, I discovered the hotel at the opposite side of the street has a very nice restaurant “open to everybody’. Beside, this restaurant had a better Internet-connection the the hotel.

Regarding the QR code covid, it is located at the entrance of the hotel on the blackboard then the towels are on sale at reception for 3 € and you have 2 hooks on the shower door to hang your towels. Hotel was super crappy. I dont know who renovated it, but they did a terrible job. Especially the 5 euro breakfast was a joke, wouldnt even pay 0,50 for it..better book at the neighbours next time

The car park facility is good, but the hotel is too far from the city centre where parking is expensive. Over all, my stay was good.

The floor was not clean especially under the bed. The pillows had smelled perfume. Not sure what was the cause.

F1 hotels are always clean and AAA for price/quality. Pitty this time there was a lot of noice during the night from the other guests. The kind of people that don’t really think about anyone else but themselves.
