I was only there for an hour due to my plans changing and having to drive all night. Otherwise I would have changed rooms. I might have done something wrong in the booking, and booked a smoking-room, so forgive me if I rate you poorly and this was all my own fault. But the room was so heavy smoke sented, I have to believe someone had just had a sigarette in there. I was exhausted and just took a nap and left. But the lady working there was super sweet, and nothing else against you.

Through the hallway I passed through smell of urine, sigarettes and just old kind of moldy. The room was ok, and the staff was very polite and nice! Getting a parking space there was also perfect!

We slept well, but noticed the bad smell in the hotel corridor. Toilet was clean. We did not use the shower. The room did not feel clean and cozy

I was aware that this was a budget hotel when booking, so I was expecting it to be basic. But this hotel was far below my expectations for a budget hotel - it was more like a sleazy american motel (have a look at it on Google Streetview before booking it). The location was out of the city centre in a mainly industrial area near the Rhine, but was conveniently along the tram line. In fairness, the room itself was fine, it was clean and comfortable and I had a good nights sleep. I booked a room without ensuite as I was only staying for one night. However, the toilet facilities on the floor were unacceptable, they were not proper bathrooms as I had expected, but were more like the portaloo cubicles which you would find at an outdoor music festival. There was no toilet seat, so you had to sit on where other guests had been urinating on, and the cubicles opened directly onto the hotel corridor, so there was a smell of urine in the hotel corridor. There were no hand basins within the toilet cubicles to wash your hands, just hand sanitiser dispensers, which are fine for disinfecting your hands, but not for washing them. While there were hand basins within each bedroom, there was no soap or hand towels anywhere within the hotel. The lack of proper facilities for washing your hands is completely unacceptable in the middle of a global pandemic, and I did not feel that this hotel made a sufficient effort to keep guests safe from covid - the ALLSAFE certification on this hotel is worth nothing. I decided to set my alarm for 5:30am to get breakfast and get out of the hotel as quick as I could. The buffet breakfast was very basic - corn flakes, bread, cheese and apple/orange juices. The staff member wanted to get my breakfast for me, and it is understandable why they wouldn't want guests handling the food themselves in a pandemic, but with the lack of proper hand washing facilities in the hotel, I could not be assured that the staff members hands were clean, so I insisted on getting my own breakfast myself. I have stayed in Accor Hotels in the past which have always been of a high standard, so I was extremely disappointed with this hotel. I expected this to be a basic budget hotel, but it was far below the minimum standard I would have expected from an Accor hotel, and I am actually surprised that Accor would even want to be associated with a hotel of this level. The imagery and terminology in the Accor emails I received before and after my stay e.g. "At Hotel F1, we are committed to providing a superior guest experience to our customers" were completely out-of-place with this hotel, and I would even question whether Accor realises what standard of hotel they are selling. I would not stay in a Hotel F1 again, and I will be much more cautious booking any Accor hotel in the future.

Room small but practical and clean, staff friendly and professional, good connections to centre of town with tram nearby.... The only (!) reason I probably won't stay again is the crazy wallpaper throughout (room, reception area, corridors...). I could have put up with it for one or two nights, but after 5 nights I was glad to be leaving... a real shame!

The hotel doesn't have any kind of assistance for the customer and part of the staff doesn't make any effort to help. Nobody had provided cups, plates and forks (simple items) at the Christmas night, for example. We hadn't had how to eat properly. But the major problem is the towels. They are not provided by the hotel which rent them to the customers for 3 euros. The problem is: they were out of stock during Christmas. How do you host someone and refuse to offer a towel (free or paid)? How do you think people will do to solve this problem during a holiday? Beyond that, the shower and toilet system is terrible. The only positive point is the cleaning staff, kind and polite. The hotel has A LOT to improve

We got beaten by bed b.. Now our bodies really itchy with 25 red dots all over our bodies. Never ever expected to have this experience. We thought F1 hotel will bring down the Accor brand. I am member of Accors for years. Never found any experience like this. Thought F1 should be ok. Nope. Got beaten by bedbugs and very dissapointed. My name is Ms. Vilayphone P.. We got a very good room rate. The reception was helpful. The size of the room is disclosed on the website, but it is smaller than most cruise ship cabins. If you have heavy luggage...keep in mind there is no lift. The man at reception did carry one of our bags to our floor. We had no control over the temp in our room. It was winter, but the room was so hot, we had to open the window a little bit. The booking page should disclose that there are no towels included in the room rate. You bring your own, or purchase one for 3 Euros. Though we stayed only 2 nights, we were surprised that the room was cleaned after the first night. A 4 minute walk will take you to the tram or a Carrefour Express market, or a boulangerie.

The location is very appreciative for whom who wants travel around Germany. However, the gare central is reachable by tram which has stop just nearby to hotel. The price is amasing, especially, considering that it's France. The style and facilities are good enough as well as staff (especially, if you speak French). The one minus is the dirt: the linens were clean but not fresh and the shelves were in the dast and crumbs. In winter it was warm. Thus, it is worth to stay here if you want save money or just shorten in your budget. I would returned in case of visiting alsace again

I rented a room with 2 bed for my friend and me. The heater didn't work (0°C outside) so we had to move in another room with a simple bed. Both room seemed old and the bed clothes not really clean...

Location and welcome excellent. Quality of bed linen very poor compared to all other Hotel F1 locations that we use across France. It was evident that there were bed bugs present in the mattress and duvet. I suffered an extended asthma attack due to this. The duvet had holes in it and the pillows were substandard - again when compared to other Hotel F1 locations. This was a real shame as the built in shower and toilet were excellent and were cleaned very well during our three night stay. Our room was tidied each day as well which we liked, but the floor was not swept. I do not understand why this particular Hotel F1 is not supplied with the same linen and pillows as elsewhere in France. Given the location, we expected much more. This is a strategically well placed Hotel F1 with excellent links to Strasbourg centre. More should be done to invest in this hotel and give it the standard it deserves.

I like F1 hotels as I travel by bike and they are great for cyclists. It's a good location for Strasbourg as the tram stop is opposite. I like the staff, showers are excellent and the unlimited buffet breakfast is great for cyclists. The only negative was the room was exceedingly hot as no air conditioning and if you open the window a lot of mosquitoes would enter.
