Our second time here and it was a nice experience for our 3 nights. The location is perfect for our needs - close to the restaurant and bars and the beach and easy access from the airport via the tram (5mins), with the main train station a short walk away (10mins). We opted for a balcony, and I would say that some are more useable than others. Ours this time was more a wrap around and about 2ft wide, so not particularly useable. The one on our last trip was small, but fine for a couple chairs and table.

Great location, nice entrance, great staff, nice space on rooftop. Rooms have lots of storage space, comfortable beds, but are a bit tired and gloomy. Aircon quite weak, bathroom door didn’t close, fairly cramped layout, no bedside table for one bed, room smelled a bit upon arrival.

During our recent three-night stay, we occupied two rooms. While my sons experienced no issues, I encountered a problem with the overhead shower in my room, which only provided a minimal flow. Consequently, I had to rely on the hand shower, which, unfortunately, required continuous manual holding, rendering it impractical. Additionally, the absence of a dressing table was a notable inconvenience.

Was not a very enjoyable stay with the main issue being the aircon which is noted in a few other reviews. Sleeping was near impossible due to the heat as the ac was not sufficient. Besides that main issue all the staff we extremely lovely and made the stay better!

Pros: Well located for restaurants (3 Michelin Guide restaurants in the same street. I can recommend Apopino - we went twice!), beaches, shops, pharmacies, Old Nice, train (only a 10 minute stroll away). A good breakfast is available (though it is €20pp if not included in your rate). Rooftop bar was nice and served good snacks. Cons: Air conditioning wasn't cold enough, we slept in our own sweat most nights! The window was shut so it didn't cause the issue - the hotel does state in the room that the air conditioning will only go down to a certain temperature, but quite frankly if this means an uncomfortable sleep, (and a place to sleep is the main reason for booking a hotel), then it isn't good enough. We asked for the sink and shower soaps to be refilled twice. Following the first request, they weren't refilled. Following the second request, only the sink soap was refilled. We gave up. We were leaving at 5am on check out, so I checked out the night before, making sure that all monies due for our entire stay were confirmed by the hotel and paid (this was in person at reception). When we were leaving the next morning, I was informed that we owed another night's stay, and after some back and forth, it became clear that this hadn't been included the previous evening. We had booked a 5am taxi to the airport through the hotel (again in person at reception and by phone the same evening to recheck). When we we came down at 4.55am, and checked again with reception, there was no record in their logs of the booking, so they called another one. Then two turned up! Conclusion: For an average €260 per night for a week-long stay, I expected more. If we had been more comfortable in the room, I could probably have forgiven the odd miss-step, but overall the stay wasn't worth the money and I wouldn't return.

Too hot in the room and in the whole building. Air con needs some money spent on it.
