Unfortunately the stay was not up to standard. We stayed in room 417 and the air conditioner did not work. Was set at 18 but very hot. Also the smell wasn’t the best. We were opposite a utility room which may have been the cause. On a positive note we did have a late check out but overall not happy with the stay. I am staying again the Friday night and will review again so hopefully positively.

Well located hotel next to Central station and restaurants and fast food outlets. The hotel has an indoor pool, a gym, a restaurant, bar and an adjacent convenience store as well. Minimal noise and great blackout blinds as well in the room with adjustable mood lighting. Staff are helpful and kind.

The room was absolutely amazing. Comfortable beds, everything was clean, amazing view of the city, complementary amenities and colour changing mood lighting!! The hotel is also conveniently located close to central station which was perfect. Staff were super friendly and accomodating. We only stayed for one night but we had the best time and will absolutely be coming back.

I appreciate the team to move us from double beds (larger room) to smaller but balcony room and charge us $90 extra - There was a big cockroach in the balcony which really dampened our stay at the hotel - Parking at extra price was also not value for money as we stayed for 3 nights and have to spend extra $150 on top - Breakfast was below par with just basic options and finished at 10am in weekdays - Room cleaning was confusing and 3rd day no cleaning was done in our room - Happy with the staff as they all did their best but as tourists we were let down by all of the above - Good staff but amount charged to us felt steep as we stayed in crown towers a night before we checked in at Mercure - Also, Parking here was almost as confusing like a navigating the city! Overall, value for money 2 out of 10 and looks like hotel caters for transit airline staff and not for Aussie tourists - Pool water was at 20 degrees and my daughter and other patrons could not enjoy the pool which looked alright at start!

I'm a gold explorer member so pre-arrival, I emailed the hotel to request a late check out. I received a disappointingly dismissive standard format response from a staff member advising to call reception on the day if departure. I was unhappy with this response so responded in relation to the insatofavorry response. My email kas siseiwentky escalated to tej assistant manager K Malick, who assored that not only was my late check out confirmed, but I was also received a bottle of sparkling wine and a piece of birthday cake. My thanks to K Malick for rectifying my initially poor customer service experience.

The pool had silt on the floor near the ladder. The floor in the ladies toilet at the pool was way too slippery when wet. Perhaps a rubber mat would help there. My husband found water all over the floor after his shower. The floor mat was soaked. The cleaner was very kind and replaced the towels and cleaned our room. Otherwise we had a pleasant stay. The great thing about this hotel is the location. 15 min walking to Darling Square and very convenient light train stops. Buffet breakfast was ok and the deluxe family bedroom comfortable.
