We went on a trip with our dog and the first night we spend it there in order to continue our journey after. We really like that dogs were allowed at the moment of having breakfast as well so for the coming back ( I week later) we decided to book in the same hotel but Aparently according to the receptionist working that night we couldn’t bring our dog to the restaurant to have dinner. When we said that we were allowed one week ago he said “the rules might have been changed” and they offered us to eat in the lobby with the transit of new guests. We went to ask the next morning for the breakfast expecting a no but this time it was super fine and the receptionist working said we could.

We liked the hotel overall. Nice rooms, clean, quiet, friendly staff. Our disappointment was in the breakfast. Limited selection, bitter orange juice (the fresh juice maker was out of service), and bad coffee (the coffee maker uses artificial milk and the coffee used was not very tasty).

We stayed at ibis Styles Bordeaux Sud Villenave-d'Ornon few times as on the way to our family home in France. Was always a nice stay, however this last time we experienced a lowering in quality, the room was dirty, the restaurant closed for the dinner and the breakfast less good than usual. It’s a pity because the hotel is nice but lost in appeal.
