The room was not clean at all, many renovation to do (shower floor broken, toilets too) Nice people in the restaurant who keep it opened for me (closing time at 9 is nevertheless super early), food ok but nothing really good

Poor shower, leakages, breakfast simply bad. Do not respect accor member levels, parking ticket given didn't work several times. Lost 1 booking of our group, come into the room - even when you put the sign up to NOT come I

Reception was great, the room ok, the carpet in the corridors is new - however there is no ambiance. The restaurant is cold and not cosy, the staff is not interested in the customers and chatting with each other, waiting until it's time to go home. The cook however, who prepared the dinner, is very good!

I really liked EVERYTHING. but the lobby area was very dusty. There were spiders webs hanging from the doors, and the big lampshades were unclean with dead flies on. Not nice to sit under when having breakfast. It looked like there used to be a "waterfall" with the bridge, but it was not working, and looked like water had got into the walls. Maybe update this area a little. Everything else was perfect.

There was a major electricity failure. No light and TV for several hours on Saturday. No warning for Painting work and carpet replacement in the corridor of the second floor all morning of Tuesday. I was in room 221!

I arrived with 4 colleagues on Sunday evening and the first approach with the hotel was pretty "strange", the parking is smelling and dirty. The floor has an old carpet not so clean... Fortunately the rooms are comfortable and clean, especially the bed and the toilette. Very nice position in the center of the town, near Cathedral, restaurants and bars and nearby to a shopping center. The restaurant of the hotel was closed (??) while the breakfast service was ok. At the reception they were not so warming and not always present. For 2 days business trip is ok, but I would never come again for vacation.

When trying to check-in, the booking wasn't recorded. I was then requested to send my booking confirmation (which I had received by email) to the hotel reception email. There were no other problems while staying at the hotel.

Rather surprised the restaurant was shut! No prior warning. After a very long day we did not appreciate having to go off and find somewhere to eat. Had we known we would have booked elsewhere. And first room we were offered was smelly and a huge crack in the shower tray; although the receptionist promptly gave us another so no real complaint there.

Hotel facilities were OK and staff were friendly. However, the in-room air-conditioning seemed poor with no way of adjusting the room temperature and the system seemed unable to cope iwth the extreme hot weather we experienced at the time of my stay

For a reservation for 4 rooms, we were forced to take the more expensive "flexible" rate (the non refundable rate was no longer available??). At check-out, we were asked to pay separately (rather than charging the company's credit card that has been used to make the reservation) which is an additional administrative hustle on our side and a loss of time.

(1) Early check-in was granted without any issue, with very friendly check-in staff. (2) Numerous times I forgot my key in the room, the reception did not for once show any displeasure to open the door for me. (3) Location wise, it is not so optimal if you would like to get to Paris, but for me to visit customer, the location is alright. (4) Car park a little bit challenging to manoveur.

Although the hotel was ok, there was chaos in the middle of the night when the fire alarm was triggered 4 times between 3:30 and 4am! Staff did not know what to do and although they knew they were false alarms, allowed the lifts to be used and sent people back to their rooms, they could not silence the alarm as it was "against the law". Come on Accor Group, get your safety training together!

It's nice to have bus and train station around the corner of the hotel. The food wasn't amazing and not well spiced but the service and the room service is very ok. However the hotel is a simple mid class hotel and therefore you can't expect something luxury and extraordinary.

Ibis Styles Hotel is not stylish in the rooms or common area at all. The bar looks good but that is the only place that does. Horrible area outside at night nowhere to go and eat that you feel comfortable in. Our room had rotten skirting board, showers that leaked, lamps that didn't work and not particularly clean. We had stayed in an Ibis Style hotel in St Malo and it was superb, wonderful staff great food! This one just needed to be an Ibis and that is it. Not for families the only thing it was handy for was the train to Paris and then the latest back was 1934. Wouldn't ever go again! We did complain and a few things got sorted however the management want to visit St Malo and see what a proper Ibis Styles looks like. Directors of Accor need to realise that the customer is paying good money to stay here and it just can't deliver!
