Stayed here 1 night in this old, but renovated hotel. Renovated in such a sense that only the reception and restaurant are done, but they forgot the rooms. The rooms are still in an old state and need a renovation as well. Breakfast is very good though, which is the only meal I had here.

A large and busy hotel with a good restaurant. Although there is a lift to the upper floors situated some distance from reception, it is accessed via a set of three steps which is not convenient if you have heavy luggage. The room was very clean but unfortunately the mattress on the bed was very firm indeed. No doubt this is good if you have a slipped disc, but most uncomfortable for those with arthritis. Being able to specify a room with a softer mattress would be nice. Plenty of charging points for electric cars although some maintenance of the car park lighting would make it easier to be able to see what one is doing.

Though the service was good, the rooms are old and not well maintained. The temperature was too warm and could not be adjusted; finally slept with the windows open! Not Novotel standards
