Room key didn't work on arrival. Water dispenser broken. Service and food ok. Expensive for what it is.

The staff are helpful, friendly and extremely welcoming. I enjoyed the casual atmosphere and the beautiful decor. The pool was a delight. The perfect temperature, and well re-stocked with towels throughout the day. My daughter spent three hours in there and I struggled to get her to leave. I had agonised over the decision not to bring armbands as they took up too much space in the luggage, but to my absolute delight, there were armbands there for us to use. An absolute result! A tiny bit of a criticism here would be that, from the pool you can really see the marks on the windows, and that they hadn’t been cleaned for a while. The rest of the hotel was spotless, so really didn’t bother me at all. It’s just a note that might be helpful to management. I just knocked one mark off my rating because an extremely heavy piece of shelving in our bathroom (that was attached with Velcro!!!!) fell off and crushed my daughters foot. We were lucky it wasn’t worse. She just has a bruise and a small cut but she is okay. Please consider removing these from the en-suite bathrooms!
