Thank you for your comments regarding your recent stay. I regret that the accommodations did not meet your expectations. However, we are within the standards of Novotel in France, and many Novotel hotels do not have the advantage of having a terrace or a balcony with a table and chairs.

Basically terrible. Shower tv and phone were all difficult, worked poorly, hard to get help. Worst part..manager when I arrived Friday May 29 was just awful to me.:you have a horrible policy of taking a deposit of more than the cost of your stay out of the guest’s bank account. He said thst was up to the bank which is not true, you just take it. He was rude. When I went down to complain about nothing working he got angry with me, kept going on about how I did not respect him and I had to agree to be respectful. He would not let me leave until I said yes to his question “are we good”. I finally said yea because otherwise he would not let me go back to my room. Horrible experiences Dinner..2.5 hours to get simple dinner. Lady manager next day very nice, breakfast fine. But I was shaken by that awful manager.

Je suis sincèrement désolée d'apprendre que votre séjour n'a pas été à la hauteur de vos attentes, notamment en ce qui concerne les problèmes rencontrés avec les équipements de votre chambre. 2 membres de notre équipe sont montés avec vous en chambre pour vous expliquer comment fonctionnaient nos douches, dans quel sens tourner les boutons. La douche ne comportait aucun défaut technique.

Fairly good value for money. There are few issues: the whole time we stayed, there was a strong fish smell on the ground floor. Then sauna access is badly designed. It should be easy to make it unlockable with room card and to have to call someone every time. Then fruits for breakfast were not fresh at all and coffee machine is quite bad.

As usual, staff is super nice and polite, hotel is well located and clean.
However, the 26°C policy in the rooms is not acceptable, especially in middle of summer. 26°C is way too high and does not enable a restful night. This policy needs changed immediately. It is not acceptable to feel like in a Paris student room under the roof of a XIX century building!! This is not ecology, this is pure greed.

although Novotel aim to improve environmental areas of their service, I really don't understand how supplying decent coffee in the rooms would impact this aim?
