Check-in was smooth, reception staff lovely and professional. Room was adequate for my needs, iron, ironing board, kettle and coffee machine, fridge. Ample hanging space for clothes and drawers. Bed comfy and slept well. Toiletries adequate for me. Had a lovely stay and will definitely stay again, location to everything is great. Also restaurant and Chelsea social bar, served great drinks and food.

I've stayed at the Ibis on Murray St literally dozens of times for work trips to Perth and have always found the staff and service excellent. However, on this recent trip i noticed that i did not receive a small arrival gift in my room as an Accor plus member (which was never a big thing but always a nice touch). Also, i asked for a late checkout on the morning of my departure and was given a direct reply of 'no' without enquiring about my status with Accor. Once i mentioned i was a member this was rectified but the initial response felt quite impersonal. Regardless, i'll still continue staying there when i return for work but thought this feedback would be helpful.

Great location, walkable to the shops, train station and Northbridge. Overall, it's a basic hotel, so don't expect too much. Breakfast was basic, but it does the job. There are a few areas to improve. One is the chronic issue of water leaking from the shower stall, which leaves the bathroom floor very wet. Another is that there is not enough staff at the restaurant during breakfast. Turning the table can take some time.

Hotel was very nice, modern and new. Can not fault the room and the hotel overall. However breakfast was not as great, every morning is exactly the same food and not much to choose from.

Great location. Comfortable beds. No toilet brush in the bathroom. Floor wasn't vacuumed on one clean-up day nor bedside tables wiped down. Shower could use a fixed shelf to place personal items on instead of placing them on the floor. Strange set up at breakfast. Toaster in the middle of room and the margarine, peanut butter, vegemite etc are in a jar with a spoon. No knives or plates at that toast station. The spoon is useless unless you expect people to use their fingers.
