Overrated - Breakfast was pretty poor and low in quality. I expected too much for a 5* hotel. Infinity pool is too small. Location is great. I might check in for a night but not longer than that. But staff are pretty helpful and very nice.

Spent Easter at the Sofitel Darling Harbour with family and friends. The hotel introduced a booking system for the pool to allow guests to enjoy a 2 hour time slot. This was a good idea but it seemed that numbers were above capacity on Easter Saturday when every chair was full and many people then resorted to sitting on the ground - it was more than packed! The hotel is lovely and is a good location, staff are helpful.

The hotel is beautifully presented and well maintained. The room was lovely, spacious and comfortable. Unfortunately, our room was on the northern side and as a result received a lot of street noise from the ferris wheel below - the music was heard until 11pm on both nights we stayed, making it hard to sleep.

Excellent stay mainly made by the staff served us breakfast in the Club Millesime on Sunday March 28. Her name is Rui. Beautiful smile and helpfulness abound. The afternoon high tea was sensational and made up for the pre covid spread. Hope the 24-hour lounge access would resume soon as I miss sitting there late night. The same cannot be said of the Reception downstairs upon checkout. Long queue with only one staff. A gentleman staff came out to the Accor Member Counter and refused to serve us as he claims that is not his job. Since opening, and from experience, it appears that the Reception is your Achilles heel. When you first opening, I thought it would be resolved. Unfortunately, till now, it appears that the problems had not been addressed. By the way, please tell your reception staff, engaging small talks does not equate good service. Most guests do not want to be held back by unnecessary small talks nor repetition of so-called advice. The guests being served looked impatient and the guests in the long queue definitely were not too happy.

While I am delighted! to see that Rui looked after you during your time with us, I am however disappointed to learn of the poor interaction you had with one of our ambassadors; allow me to express my sincerest apologies for the response you received. While the ambassador may not have been capable to assist, there response was certainly unacceptable. We are all here to assist where and if needed. Rest assure that I will share your interaction with our Front Office Manager who I am sure would appreciate knowing this and will address the matter appropriately with his entire team. At the end of the day, ALL ambassadors at Sofitel are here to serve our guests and encourage one another to deliver a superior service. Ive been put at disability room by Jullien, its very disappointing and traumatic. I did not enjoy at all, the carpet has a rubbish some sort of small alluminium cover. It didnt clean properly. I have requested a room upgrade 2 weeks before my staying and Jimmy Tran sent us email mentioned that he will prioritize us, because we are a loyal AccorPlus Member for a decade. I try to contact him via email but no one replying, it has been three days.

Platinum upgrade denied as we had booked at the top of our tier. If there was a suite upgrade in the booking process, we were not aware of it. One remembers the great Sofitels in Queenstown, Singapore etc and forgets bad experiences from before and we say, wish we booked Mercure or Novotel and paid for our Lounge drinks

- Manager in the restaurant took so long to figure out where to seat people. - Seemed like the manager was always angry with the staff that seemed untrained and wanted to do the right, but had no leadership and training - How can you build a hotel in the city and NOT have a place that I can plug a computer in and work from, whilst having a coffee??? Only place is a club that I have to pay additional for, despite being a silver Accor member. Concierge were rude and not interested in assisting at all. - Don’t know where the pompous attitude comes from, but whilst the stay was ok, room and amenities were good, the attitude of managerial and concierge were terrible. - As an Accor member I would expect better, but maybe I should stick Marriot Bonvoy hotels as I feel welcomed in their hotels and they go over and above, unlike the Sofitel.

Noisy room. Reception said nothing could be done. Gift as platinum much inferior to many other Accor hotels in which I’ve stayed (esp the nearby Sofitel Wentworth).

The place was ideal for comfort and location, however trying to get a microwave to heat my daughters milk was a nightmare. What a stupid a thing not to have on hand for guests 🤦🏻‍♂️ At least have a communal one 🤷‍♂️
