The Hotel was spotless and the Staff were constantly cleaning. Room was small but comfortable enough with great views of Darling Harbour. Food was good in the Restaurant but service was a little disorganized and needs better management. Overall a lovely stay in a quality city Hotel.

Have stayed at this hotel several times which never disappoints. Spacious and well appointed rooms. Executive Lounge excellent. Air conditioning in the room however was not effective & became quite stuffy. Controls did not allow for temperature to be adjusted either. Had the same issue on the last stay but will be back.

All very professional with exceptional service. Only complaint is that the room was very hot and the airconditioner could only be set to a low of 19.5 degrees and we would have liked around 17 degrees

I have stayed in most hotels in Sydney and this is by far the best. They certainly don’t let covid get in the way of service . It was so good I booked for next weekend with my Kids . I can’t wait to experience it with them .

I stayed in the room with my 7 year old son as a treat for school holidays. We were upgraded to a room with a Darling Harbour view which was very much appreciated. A nice touch was leaving my son a toy kangaroo in the room which was perfect because he left his toy monkey at home which he sleeps with every night....he was very happy & now at home, he sleeps with his monkey AND his Sofitel kangaroo!

Aircon very weak doesnt work couldn’t breathe , no air coming into room made complaint didn’t fix problem , also no air from windows coming in , not a big variety of food on menu very simple basic choices for a restaurant of that class and location never again will i go there

Was very impressed I've stay there twice first night didn't get room I ask for with bath and view Second time still didn't get room I wanted Took hour for them to replace the battery in tv control

Pros: The room was beautiful, the bed really comfy. Location was amazing, and the view from the bathroom spectacular. Cons: Concierge were unaware of the wine and nibbles included in our package, this required two phone calls to rectify. Disappointed in bar and resturants being closed. This was not mentioned in phone calls when I was enquiring about accommodation. Breakfast was very disappointing. The food served was cold, including bacon and eggs. The room has no music/bluetooth/ wifi music player, and no information on how to operate the TV, or any information regarding the hotel at all. Overall we were a little disappointed in our stay. We are aware of restrictions that Covid necessitates, but the issues we found were not, in our opinion covid related. We will stay again, possibly after the pandemic due to the location and the beautiful rooms.

Staff and service were amazing. Establishment is always incredible. Checkin lines were a challenge, and navigating the lifts meant that walking down 29 floors of stairs was faster. We sadly missed the famous buffet breakfast that we always so look forward to. Overall given the Covid safe restrictions we couldn’t have hoped for anything better.

It was very disappointing that no one made us aware at booking time that very little of the hotel was available for use including bars and restaurants and also valet parking at $84.00 per night
