We stay at north beach Wollongong one or twice a year, we are Accor members. We use to get 1 complimentary drink per person in hotel bar, that now has been taken away. There use to be bottle water 1 per person in your room, that has now gone. Other minor things that are not important to the average person, but noticed by those who do stay in different hotels throughout the year. Staff were professional no complaints there, the room was ok, though big different in prices between nights.

Was part of a large conference group, facilities and food was great, room was quiet and serviceable, although ageing and curtains didn’t block all the light so was woken at sunrise each morning. Hotel bar also closed far too early with so many patrons left without an option.

We have stayed many times. Unfortunately this time when we arrived there was a dirty cleaning cloth left on the outside chairs. I advised housekeeping and this was collected quickly. Also, our room wasn’t cleaned on one of the days even though my husband advised a cleaner outside our door that it’s free now. The follow day when our room was cleaned we were out for the whole day and when we returned that evening the door wasn’t locked. Finally, when trying to collect our bags from our room to check out, the battery on the door lock was flat and we couldn’t enter and had to wait for this to be resolved..
