The overall experience was very pleasant. Everything was good. The only slight negative was that the room service person who delivered our breakfast forgot the cutlery and then, when he returned brought one napkin for 2 people and 2 sets of knives and forks even though one of us was having cereal and needed a spoon. Also, the coffee came in take away cups which was odd. This was reasonably trivial but influenced our decision about breakfast the next day so I decided to raise it.

Food good, staff friendly, but website misrepresents that it has a laundromat...yes - if you want to walk to one 800m from the hotel.

I had a really lovely time at Wollongong Nortbeach. Reception staff were friendly and informative. I stayed in an Ocean View room and the views were spectacular. Staff in the restaurant were friendly and attentive. And the food was delicious with a very generous serve. Definitely coming back.

Overall the facilities were fine, pool, bar, restaurant etc however the extra cost for parking, in an area where street parking is free, and wifi at a cost over around $11 per hour is silly. The bed was okay, the Tv had 5 free to air channels working with no casting feature (almost a standard across this level of hotel now) and the shower is a bath/shower combo and if you are over 180cm your head touches the ceiling.

Friendly staff. Clean room. No free wifi No PowerPoint next to the bed to charge device The room smelt musty and dated Old aircon that is very noisy
