Lovely hotel. Not a great location unless you have a car. It would be awesome if the hotel put on some shuttle buses to Mooloolaba. We ordered room service one night and it didn’t arrive. The lovely restaurant supervisor/manager Austin, kindly gave us a meal of our choice the following evening. I would have liked to have a restaurant with table service, we had to leave the restaurant to go to the bar during dinner to get drinks. The room was clean with nice amenities. Definitely would only stay here again if we had a car.

We were there for a work christmas party under the name Lisa and Shane Keefe. We were extremely disappointed with the restaurant and bar setup. you have a very expensive menu and expect customers who are paying $52 a steak to get up and order at the counter and go to the bar to order there drinks. I understand this at a local pub or tavern but not at your resort, there should have been table service! We spent a small fortune there and could not believe the service that was not included, you really need to change this.

I had wanted to stay here for years and now I will tell everyone not to bother. The restaurant needs an overhaul. Lining up for a table number for half an hour then waiting once I'd found my own table to be served terrible food that was noticeably frozen packet fish. Very poor for a 4 star hotel that is right by the ocean. No actual service so it didn't feel like you were on holiday at a resort, it felt like I was at the RSL....even then Ive eaten far better food at the RSL!! And drinking beer from plastic is gross! The high tea was lovely but we werent allowed to add the drinks package which is ridiculous!!, and it was very quickly realised that your focus is not on your guests but only that of the conference attendees. The seating area was not relaxing and enjoyable at all, it was loud and tacky. Families in bathers screaming around us, conference people gathered around. Again, I did not feel like I was on holiday. You need to establish your identity, you can't be all of everything and charge an arm and a leg and expect your guests to just accept the sub par service and surroundings. There wasn't even any music playing!! The air-conditioning was not working in my overwater bungalow on check - in on a 35degree day! The person who cleaned and checked the room should have noticed this and had it running so we could arrive to a cool room. Again, that was a few hours of inconvenience and being uncomfortable and frustrated. And the disgusting stinking bin outside our room on a hot weekend!!! Cleaners would have smelt that and just ignored it! Breakfast - there were no hash browns and the potatoe chats were well over seasoned! There was no signage or suggestions from staff regarding omelette and eggs made to order! The plates are tiny and I had to awkwardly carry 2 plates because I couldn't fit my toast and eggs and bacon on one plate. I am extremely disappointed with our experience at twin waters. A compliment to Amber who was our waiter for our high tea. Her service was outstanding!! Very rare these days indeed. You are just a conference centre.
