During our stay in Vietnam, we were fortunate to have 2 stays at the Metropole and on each occasion we experienced perfection! From arrival, during and up until departure, the Hotel couldn’t be faulted. All staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, and breakfast and lunchtime offered everything we wanted. Our rooms exceeded expectations and we would have stayed longer if it had been possible. A MUST revisit Hotel!! Thanks to everyone ..

recently had the pleasure of staying at your beautiful property, and I wanted to take a moment to share my feedback. From the moment I arrived, I was truly impressed by the warmth and courtesy of your team. Every member of staff—from the doormen to the front desk—greeted guests with genuine smiles and professionalism, creating a welcoming and memorable atmosphere. The check-in experience was seamless, and the overall hospitality exceeded expectations. The food during my stay was excellent, and I had no complaints whatsoever in this regard. I also thoroughly enjoyed the guided tour of the bomb shelter bunker—it was fascinating, informative, and well conducted. That said, I did feel the spa experience could be improved to better match the otherwise world-class standards of the property. The spa reception team was wonderful—attentive, knowledgeable, and very helpful in recommending the right treatments. However, during the massage session, there were a few small but noticeable points for improvement: 1. While the room and facilities were clean and comfortable, the massage oil could be pre-warmed; its cool temperature was a little shocking on the skin initially. 2. The ambient music kept going on and off intermittently, which slightly disrupted the relaxation experience. 3. Although the masseuse was skilled and professional, these small refinements would truly elevate the experience. 4. Finally, after the session, I was served hot tea and snacks—a lovely touch—but I wasn’t asked for any feedback nor given an opportunity to fill out a form. The checkout felt a bit rushed, which seemed inconsistent with the otherwise thoughtful service. Overall, I had a wonderful time at your hotel and would gladly recommend it to friends and colleagues. The Sofitel Metropole Hanoi truly stands out for its history, charm, and exceptional hospitality. With a few enhancements to the spa experience, it could be flawless.
