Hôtel Mercure Bordeaux Aeroport is a good location for visiting Bordeaux, as the public transport is very easy accesible and the mobile app for the puvlic transportation makes the hotel a great choice because it is a quiet location despite being so close to the airport. The hotel floors have different themes; and the rooms are decorated accordingly. Pool and nice garden in the back. A small selection of moctails in the bar and friendly staff provided a good experience. Some details need attending; wall mounting of the single mirror in the bathroom; the cabinet doors in the wardrobe section had minor damages in front; the AC fan was flapping ever so slightly during the night - but I would stay here again because of the location.

Very pleasant overnight stay after a flight from Birmingham. Better directions from the airport would be useful. The tram stops at Caroline Aigle, one stop after the tram departure terminus. The hotel is about a 15 minutes walk.

We stayed at the Bordeaux Airport Mercure for one night prior to our departure at the Airport. The room was very pleasant, the bed comfortable and the linens clean. We witnessed some small problems in the bathroom and a less friendly front desk person when we inquired about the shuttle. She was pleasant later in the morning when we took the shuttle for our flight. The issue in the bathroom is there is only soap provided in the shower, which means if you want to wash your hands you are required to climb into the shower, go behind the glass door, obtain the soap from the wall mounted dispenser, and then move around the door, climb out of the tub and then proceed to wash your hands at the sink. Why doesn't the Mercure provide hand soap at the bathroom sink? There was only body lotion.

Late check in due to massive flight delay. Easy to park but if you have no car, the trams and shuttle stops at midnight - it would be a walk of 15 mins. Air conditioning is poor and the room was ok. Horrible paper cups and not even a complimentary bottle of water. Tap water was warm despite running the water for a while. The shower holder was broken and clearly this is not new but as most clients only stay overnight, I suspect the management do not care. The receptionist man who checked us in was polite. However seeing that we checked in at the early hours of the mornings (past midnight) and being a silver club member - it would have been nice to offer us a free bottle of water. Breakfast was expensive at 19E per person !

Front desk stored our ten bags of luggage in a separate room so our 4am taxi could load it. Great front desk staff. The hotel should consider having their airport shuttle leave at 430am so the guests with 6am flights can make their flights on time .nice restaurant !

On my trip back to the Netherlands we overnighted here. All went fine. Small note about the breakfast: it could be better. Although a frying pan was made available for frying eggs, such is unique and by the time I reached the breakfast room, such frying pan was filthy! Someone from the staff should have noticed it andeliminate such public health hazzard from the breakfast room.
