We chose hotel because of easy access to the airport for a very early flight. But, as we were tired when we arrived we chose to eat in at the hotel restaurant. Big Mistake! The limited food offerings were unattactive and we decided to try the buffet. There was a small assortment of foods which varied from tasteless to inedible, In the event we ever stay hre again out of necessity, we will bring sandwiches or eat out.

Bedroom comfortable but in some instances "design" overrides practicality, eg. bathroom basin does not drain efficiently, plug had to be lifted by hand to drain water. And the tea/coffee "tray" is an APPALLING abomination - more like an artists palette board than a tea tray!! Surprised Mercure does not practise energy-saving policies by using keycard-activation of room electricity operation. Dinner in restaurant adequate but vastly over-priced. Would actually choose another hotel that was convenient for the airport.
