The staff was great but the bedroom was very old and totally did not look like the pictures on the website. The room was not properly clean at all. Also the breakfast was very poor compared to other Ibis I’ve been before.

Checked in online - nothing was ready on arrival, still had to check in No welcome drink offered, I asked for it, they forgot In the morning I asked for a coffee for the road - I was followed her to the machine where she made an expresso (without asking which one) then said I would pay for it - I’ve never been asked to pay for a coffee from the machine in the morning, exp at 3 euro 20. I’ve made a complaint.

We were moved to this hotel due to the closure of the Ibis Style we booked into. The Ibis Style had informed me that there would be no further charge at the Ibis Passac, but hadn’t told them, which caused embarrassment with them asking me to pay when I arrived. I had to search for the emails on my phone to prove I’d paid. When we left the receptionist ran after us to our car demanding payment, I again had to search on my phone to prove I didn’t owe anything. I am a silver member.

On arrival one of the rooms was incorrect - we had ordered a double and a single, but were given just a double. On pointing this out we were then given a twin, but the beds were actually touching as it was so small and it was a smoking room, which smelled terrible and it was on a different floor which was not good for our daughters. The other room was also very small and there was no room for a bedside table or light on one side of the bed as it was jammed up against the door. Only good thing was the breakfast.

Location good as very close to airport - 10 mins drive. Plenty of restaurants close to hotel. We are in hotels own restaurant every night - Italian good lovely & very reasonable. Staff all very friendly & helpful. The air con in our room didn’t seem to work very well but other than that everything was great. Would definitely stay here again.

wonderfull experience in Ibis Pessac. Access to Bordeaux and ocean highway is very easy. Breakfast is excellent. I recommand this hotel for a short stay dedicated to visit Bordeaux.

Having used Ibis Styles and Ibis Budget Hotels for overnight stays in recent years and finding this offered at little greater cost, with the advantage of an on-site restaurant, if required, we were bnooked it and were somewhat disappointed. We anticipated a more spacious room than in either of the two other types of hotel but there was little in it. The bathroom suffered from the same problem with a need to enter the room and and first close the door, in order to be able to get to the toilet. The room had a couple of bizarre feature not least a 2 seater built in "couch" of which half was under the table/desk, leving one seating space. What is that about? The hotel décor was a rather depressing modernist mix of reds and dark greys which didn't help give the corridors an airy feel. The restaurant was OK but we felt that the range of starters was limited. One cheapish item and the rest were very much more expensive and, probably more than adequately filling.

We have stayed here 4 or 5 times previously,bed very comfortable and room adequate for our dog. The new menu looked an improvement although we didnt eat. We did have drink as the the prices are now reasonable
