The first room we were assigned 121, was rather warm although the thermostat was on zero🙄. Tom, at reception was very helpful and immediately came to inspect the room. There was also a broken window lock. He arranged an alternative, 136 which was cool. Perhaps because ni external window? It was not however with twin beds as requested. He apologized and a few minutes later returned to offer a suite with two beds. This however was warm although the thermostat was again on zero and the fan operating. We accepted the 136 with Grand Lit. Our great thanks to Tom, an excellent representative. My impression as an engineer was that the chilled water system was not functioning?

Room slightly bigger than ibis budget but found some issues that housekeeping should have had fixed. 1) sink plug stick in closed position suggesting sink was not cleaned during last service. Lever to open plug was bent and did not function. 2) Curtains were closed on arrival. Following morning I realised why. They were stuck in tracks and came down when I tried to open them. Clearly housekeeping found the stuck also but didn't bother having them fixed 3) Tv had no English news channel although BBC and CNN were on channel list. Overall I did not feel the premium price over for example ibis budget or greet hotel was worth it.

The room was hot and the bed was not comfortable. Very disappointing. Definitely a 2 star NOT a 3 star.
