Good location. The room was even smaller than usual. There wasn’t enough room to turn around in the bathroom. The air conditioning wasn’t powerful enough on hot days. The breakfast was more modest than at many other Ibis hotels. The staff was friendly.

Rooms and hotel were as we would have expected. Clean, well taken of and well provisioned. There was an incident while we were sat in the hotel bar. (10th August around 10:30pm) A drunk man walked in from the street and started threatening myself and my friends unprovoked. I spoke to the bar staff who send that this was not his concern and that I should speak with the reception. I spoke to the reception who said there was nothing they could do. When staying at a hotel I would like to think that I am safe and that there are safeguards in place to ensure possibly violent people do not have access to the building without intervention from the staff. Sadly this spoiled for us what was a lovely stay in Munich.

I am extremely disappointed with my stay\. During my stay, a member of staff used a master key to enter my room without knocking or announcing themselves. This happened just as I had stepped out of the shower, while my wife was still in the shower. The door was opened immediately with no warning whatsoever. It was an incredibly embarrassing and uncomfortable situation, as I was naked in the room. This was a serious invasion of our privacy and made us feel very unsafe In addition, the housekeeping team repeatedly came back to the room before our 12:00 pm checkout time. Despite checkout not being due yet, they continued returning, which was both disruptive and very unusual. I work for Accor Hotels, so I understand the standards and procedures expected in the hospitality industry. In my experience, staff should always knock, clearly announce themselves, and wait for a response before entering an occupied room, even when they have a master key. I have never experienced anything like this before. Overall, this was not a pleasant stay. The complete lack of respect for guest privacy was unacceptable, and having someone walk into the room while I was naked was deeply embarrassing. I hope this incident is taken seriously and that staff are properly reminded of the correct procedures to prevent this from happening to other guests.

The rooms we were given were directly opposite the tram lines and even with the windows shut, the room was noisy and vibrated with the trams, which went on almost to midnight and then started back up at 4am. No decent sleep at this hotel, which I feel is the basic requirement of a hotel. Additionally, the air conditioning unit was leaking water on to the carpet, which wasn't ideal.

There was no AC , in the room , it was so hot , even though it was in a good location, the area wasn’t very pleasant, there was a lot of homeless people in the area, I had to take a train at 4am , and I was so scared to walk in those hours .
