I'm a long time Accor customer, I chose this brand because the hotels are mostly nice. But this one has nothing that would make you come back. There was dirt in the corners of my bathtub, lamp during my stay wasn't working at all. One stay before my last one I was refused to be given a free drink voucher being an Accor silver member, receptionist told me this is from gold membership. This is total nonsense, in every other hotel they give me the voucher on arrival even without asking. So next time I showed the receptionist Accor pages and then he gave me the voucher. This is embarrassing!

I have used this hotel for 5 years . I have noticed a decline in quality this past year . This is the first time that I was not happy at this hotel . The other hotel guests were quite rowdy and noisy. I had to call the hotel front desk to complain about the noise . The housekeeping was also not up to its usual standards.. dirty plates and glasses left behind and the coffee station not replenished daily . I also felt that although the hotel rooms are non smoking that guests have smoked in the hotel suite that I stayed . also did not enjoy having to walk through a cloud of cigarette smoke every time I wanted to leave and return to the hotel . I will have to seriously consider my options on my next visit.

Clean hotel with not so good food related services

Room was OK, clean every day. Biggest disappointment were breakfasts and restaurant. Restaurant was already completely dark at 21:30, bar did not have any food offering available anymore either even so I saw used plates to be removed 10 minutes before during check-in. At least some offer of snacks like cheese, fresh sandwich, or may be a soup after the restaurant closes wold be good since there is nothing around. For breakfast the scrambled eggs were really dry in huge amount, probably doing them in smaller batches so they are not being left to dry fo so long and bacon were prepared on terribly overburned fat.

I arrived shortly after a coach load of Chinese tourists - given their arrival was known, only one member of staff was on duty and I had to wait quite a while before check in. I have stayed at this hotel on quite a few occassions now, and initially would always get an upgrade to a prestige room, although the last three stays this has not happened. Also I also don't get why on every stay I have to fill in my details, despite my Le Club number being associated to the reservation. The bed and rooms are fine, but the lack of USB charging ports that are becoming increasingly common is disappointing - after staying a couple of times at the Ibis Munchen Messe, I feel I receive better service and a comparable room from an Ibis as I do from the Mercure.

Mouldy shower and smelly room

It was ok. Nothing very special. Our shower was mouldy and there wad a smoke smell in corridors. Our room had an unpleasant musty smell. Reception was friendly. Bed was comfortable, sheets were a bit worn though.

I experienced the hotel as very clean and comfortably located at the outskirts of Munich, however I thought the price per (standard) room was too high: 172€ for an ordinary small room - even during Oktoberfest - is exaggerated

Mercure quality did not surprise me. This is what I get used to... As I stayed in "privilege" room, this really makes me special. The staff is always kind and very helpful: the attendant has stopped the shuttle bus for me.

We stayed here after staying at the Mercure Ost Messe before. This was more expensive, probably because it is in a slightly better looking area and public transport to Munich is easy. We paid 12.80 EUR for 2 of us to have unlimited public transport for a day in Munich, aswell as travelling around Bavaria. There is free parking at the side of the hotel, which fills up, but the garage costs loads if you use it. Nice hotel, good rooms, good nights sleep, excellent breakfast.

My Mum and I were staying in 2 rooms and booked in advance to have a 3 course meal plus wine in the restaurant. The room of my Mum smelt of mould, which we think was coming from the bathroom. In my room, the coffee machine was not working. For the 3-course meal we were not given any choice of what to have and it was not in the restaurant but in the bar area (fine, but just different from what we thought). The stay was OK but I recommend you update your website/booking process to make it more reflective of the reality. The checking in process was not very smooth.
