When I checked-in I was given a room on the 3rd floor. When I got to the room it was colder than outside at -2C. I called the reception and they told me that I should change the temperature on the wall box to 25C and wait a few minutes. When nothing happened I went downstairs and I was given a small electric heater. Upon questioning I was told that they had a problem with the heating which they could have told me when I checked in. The heather was far too loud to be used when trying to sleep so I had to freeze all night. I put items in the safe and it closed itself without me being able to enter a code. When I called reception at around 09.30pm I was told that they couldn't open it and I had to wait until 7am the next morning which meant I couldn't work in the evening since I locked my laptop when I went for dinner. The arrogance of the reception team and the lack of interest to find a solution was staggering! Last time I will use the Mercure ever!!

I had one night accommodation on a Christmas Market weekend; the hotel is well connected to the center by public transport. Very comfortable rooms, great breakfast. smooth check inn- anything you need from a hotel stay. I would recommend.

Hotel is well maintained, despite modernized with latest facilities, Hotel still has its old charm. Breakfast is very good with extensive spread of options. Checkin and checkout are quick as with any Accor establishments. A. quick wayfinders around Metro and Suburb stations would be more helpful for the cuests arriving via Public Transportation

Little nice hotel. Had this time some problems with my room but the staff resolved it immediatly. Nice breakfast. Unfortunately the " weisswurst" was without the "suesser Senf (sweet mustard)" Weisswurst will be eaten with sweet mustard.
