The room was clean and comfortable. Bed was comfortable enough. The rug under the bed is a little shaggy. The employees were kind and professional. Nice view over the train tracks. Some noise from the trains, but that didn't bother me as I am a heavy sleeper and it's to be expected with a hotel next to the station. Great location. Hotel breakfast was adequate. My wife did not like the cappuccino from the machine though, as if the milk was of low quality. All in all a nice experience. Too bad there wasn't a bath in the room.

We have stayed in a variety of different hotels in the Accor group over the years including Ibis Budget, Ibis, Ibis Styles and Mercure. This Mercure hotel was a 4 star hotel although to us it felt like a standard Ibis and really didn't feel anything special considering the price paid. We were awoken at about 5am by the noise of the trains from the adjacent station. The locked cycle store room was necessary for us and we noted that it was used by a number of cyclists while we were there.

We stayed the night here to be close to the train station for our onward journey to Eindhoven. The hotel is nice - though, since we were visiting friends in the town, we didn't spend much time at the hotel. The room is nice - standard size - with standard amenities. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. The following morning, the hotel was kind enough to keep our bags after we checked out and before we took the train in the late afternoon. Staff were very pleasant and professional and seemed eager to offer assistance.
