Good weekend stay for daughter's graduation but the hotel seems in need of renovation in room corridors and also bathroom was very dated plastic sink and broken plug. Also cold weather caused a hot water failure on 1st night so no hot shower which was poor.

We arrived at 8pm and the onsite parking was full, which to be fair is expected as parking is limited, and there are plenty of car parks nearby. It would be good to have a designated drop off point or a few bays outside that have a limited parking duration to allow you to drop your bags, check in and then park elsewhere. Good central location, some of the carpets in the corridors were tiered, but the room was clean and tidy, no complaints except the door kept my daughter awake at times as it was rattling during the night. Didn’t affect me though 🤭. Service at the bar was a bit slow and we ended up leaving the hotel to eat, but it was busy, and the central location didn’t make this an issue. Breakfast was good with a varied selection of food, and accommodating staff, the chef had no issues with doing a couple of fresh fried eggs, even though they were not on the standard menu. We didn’t have chance to use the pool or gym so couldn’t comment on these. Overall a pleasant stay, well located hotel and great / accommodating staff.

Very well located, easy to find, clean, straightforward. I travelled to Sheffield for a conference and the hotel provided everything I needed. It was quiet, very comfortable.
