Pros: - Super clean - Very modern with boutique feel - Housekeeping super efficient - Excellent location, close to bars, restaurants, transport links and Christmas markets Cons - only two very small lifts (only one was in operation for part of our stay) - baths are not very easy to get in and out of We booked a business class room - we loved the wood floors, coffee machine and boutique vibes. However despite expressing a preference and emailing ahead for a room with a walk in shower, we were allocated a room with a bath upon check in. The bath had a fixed shower screen and was very difficult to get in or out of. We were told there were no business rooms available with shower and were advised to call back the next day. Luckily we were able to transfer to a room with a walk in shower which was much easier to navigate although the new room was smaller. Still a good stay and would recommend because the location is hard to beat.

Dog friendly hotel that was the main reason for choosing this hotel. And yes it was, our little Bobbie was welcomed very sweet. In the room a doggie carpet, food and water bowls and some treats. I did the breakfast in the restaurant, my wife in the room. Awesome, everything you want was there. Great atmosphere and perfect spot in the city, right near by the dome and X-mas market. Perfect and spacey parking garage. Many compliments for our perfect stay.

We use this hotel as our base when visiting the Cologne Christmas Markets. Always a warm welcome. This was our 4th or 5th visit in 7 years. Couple of things. Why put glass between the bathroom and bedroom areas? Seems to be the 'in' thing now with most hotels. Car Park. Always use their car park for convienience. In 2023 we had a very minor problem but without asking were given free parking. In 2024 we thought let's be cheeky and see if we can get a discount on the parking (we are Gold ALL Accor members). We had no complaints, indeed thanked the staff for the stay. The answer was no as the hotel do not own the car park on their first floor. A simple I'm sorry I cant do that would have been accepted but I'm not sure the ownership is correct. Anyway, we will go back again in 2025
