Clean and friendly hotel, in a great location. Only a couple of issues - The screen between the bathroom and the bedroom. You can see a persons outline in the shower which is uncomfortable, especially in a twin, and if someone goes to the bathroom in the night, the light shines through and wakes the other person up. Also, I wouldn’t expect in a twin room to have the beds be together creating a double, I expected them to separated beds.

We loved our stay at your hotel. The staff was very welcoming and willing to answer our questions. The room was clean and ideal for our needs. The hotel was ideally located near everything we wanted to do and see including the Christmas Markets and the Cologne Cathedral. We arrived by train so it was very conveniently located near this for transportation to and from the city.

Great location. Hotel room was very cold and heating was temperature control was very outdated and didn’t seem to make a difference. Main reception team were pleasant but there were always queues. Our late check-out was acknowledged at check in but our cards stopped working (acknowledged later as a hotel error). Turn down service at night was a lovely touch and chocolates were put on our pillows. It would have been better if in room coffee supplies were updated each day as part of cleaning but oddly only sugars were provided after the first day.

Odyssey25582571028 TripAdvisor review

When checking in the front desk was very rude and dismissive of me. Then on our second day of stay 2 hotel workers walked straight into our room at 9am, with cause or reason. When calling the front desk to complain,they did not even apologize, they told us to hang the do not disturb sign on the outside of the door, which we had already done the day before and told them that, it was there when the 2 employees walked into our room, they completely dismissed our complaint and said if the the sign is on the door it should be fine. The room needed to be cleaned better, we had a dirty towel and hair in the bed. Would not recommend this hotel.
