Mondial am Dom is A. great hotel for Americans traveling to Germany's Rhineland. It is very close to the central train station where most people arrive in the city while at the same time located in the historic old section of the town. The staff speak English so checking-in is no problem and they are very friently an efficient. The hotel is very modern and the facilities and rooms are very comfortable and have facilities familiar to international visitors.

Staff were very pleasant and helpful. We were kindly upgraded to a business room.The room was adequate, but not especially spacious. It was reasonably equipped, but tissues were not replenished, and the toilet bowl had discolouration which was probably due to only basic cleaning. We did not take breakfast, which was on the expensive side. Having stayed at an MGallery hotel in Venice, I had expected more stylish rooms and reception area, but the main advantage of the hotel was the location and staff.

This was one of my two best stays at an Accor property (the other one was Sofitel in Mumbai). Despite a very late arrival, friendly, quick and comoetent check-in, suite upgrade, welcome amenities (not just one!), friendly check-put again. My only regret is that due to work reasons, I only stayed a few hours ... I will surely be back for a míče weekend!
