On my arrival the receptionist spoke to me in an unprofessional manner. My personal credit card authorization didn't work and the situation seemed funny to him. The solution he found for this situation was to debit the company credit card for my stay in advance, without informing us about it (my manager and / or me). We learned about it only during our checkout. Then my key card didn't work and I had to go back to the reception once again to get a new one. Once in the room, I noticed a big spot on the carpet, looked like from red wine. I called the reception to inform them and ask for someone to come and clean it the next day (it was late in the evening). The receptionist confirmed he would send someone next day in the morning but until the end of my stay nobody came to clean it. The AC also seemed to be broken and it was very cold in the room even though I put the temperature on max. Nobody fixed it during the whole stay. The receptionist who did our checkout was disagreeable and rude. The breakfasts were ok and the receptionist who booked for us the taxis after checkout was professional. I don't think I am too demanding. I worked in hospitality management myself and I am able to appreciate good customer service but most of the reception staff was definitely unprofessional and I think that this hotel doesn't meet the standards of 4 stars hotels in France.
