Adjacent building threw a huge party on the first night of our stay with lots of guests, loud music and screams. We could not sleep on that night until the party ended almost morning time.

The rooms are clean and quiet, albeit modest (small bathroom in which only one person fits at a time). Location is ideal for taking the shuttle or walking to the Abbey. The dining (breakfast and dinner) was very good, excellent buffet breakfast and delicious steak frites. I took it down to 9 from a 10 rating because the front desk staff was not particularly friendly.

Stayed for two nights to visit Mont Saint Michel. Free bus stop right outside hotel. But actually the walk from the hotel is great. Nice restaurant and really good breakfast to set you up for a day of exploring.

From the moment you enter the grounds, all staff from front desk, servers at the breakfast room or dinner are cordial and caring. Franny at the front desk is a gem. You can always count on her to offer touring suggestions- as a repeat customer she keeps coming up with suggestions and talks to me about the region. The ladies at breakfast are fabulous- always getting me some gluten free madeleines and rolls

The hotel is well located, within close proximity to Mont saint Michel. The check in n was a breeze and the room is pretty good size. We have everything we needed for our overnight stay. Beds and pillows are pretty comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you visit the Mont.

Expensive for class of hotel, no room in hotel dining on evening due to bus package tours. Breakfast average at best.

The room was fine, no complaints. There are a lot of stairs and no assistance to get bags up the two flights which is hard for my 76-year-old travel companion.

We stayed here on a friend’s recommendation. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was plentiful and good quality. Refrigerated tap water to refill bottles was an excellent bonus.

Basic hotel but comfortable for 1 night stay, no lift so some guests may struggle with stairs, good breakfast , shuttle bus to Abbey right out front of hotel , car park available but instructions on how to access the restricted area were not made clear , I received an email the day before with a code but no explanation , we assumed this was for the car park at hotel but after coming to a boom gate at the start of the town and no idea how to get in we suddenly realised it was the code for the boom gate !

No elevator, broken hair dryer, found a 2-inch spider in the room. I called reception, room service, operation, no one answer there phone. The room was clean though. There was no email for the access code as promised. I had to park at the gate and walked to the reception. After I checked in and went out, I couldn't get pass the gate back again and I had to walk again. The reception at late night couldn't help me at all, just told me to walk back to the gate and call the information button.

Because of a system failure, I ended up paying more. There was no Wi-Fi in the room.

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience at Mercure Mont Saint-Michel. We are sorry that the booking process caused confusion before your arrival. As the reservations were made through an external booking platform, the technical issue encountered during the booking process was unfortunately outside the hotel’s control. In case of an error message or any doubt about whether a reservation has been confirmed, we strongly recommend contacting the hotel directly by phone or email before making another booking. Our reception team can check the reservation and confirm its status for you. When our team discovered that two reservations had been confirmed under your name, we nevertheless cancelled one of them without applying any cancellation fee. Regarding the room allocated to you, we followed the reservation that remained active. We are pleased that you appreciated the cleanliness of the room, the minibar and the welcome gift. We would also like to mention that you benefited from an upgraded room during your stay. We are sorry to read that the Wi-Fi connection was not satisfactory in your room. In this type of situation, we encourage our guests to contact reception during their stay so that our team can check the issue and assist whenever possible. We are nevertheless pleased that you found our receptionist kind and polite, and that our team was able to store your luggage and offer you an earlier check-in. Finally, regarding the disposable cups, we understand your environmental concern. We are currently in the process of transitioning towards reusable cups. Thank you again for your feedback. Best regards, Aurore
