Hôtel Mercure is By far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at, and I travel 40+ weeks out of the year. This was an extremely disappointing and unacceptable stay. The room was unbearably hot, and even keeping the window open made no difference. The booking explicitly stated that the room had air conditioning, yet the air conditioner did not work at all. This alone is unacceptable. The issues did not stop there. The toilet seat was broken and repeatedly fell off, the shower did not drain properly, and basic maintenance was clearly neglected. Additionally, the booking stated that a bottle of mineral water would be provided, which was never available. For a hotel under the Accor/Mercure brand, this level of quality is shocking. I travel frequently for business, and this experience was far below any reasonable standard. I will be ensuring that my corporation takes note of this property and avoids it for future business travel bookings. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and will never stay at this property—or any Accor-branded hotel—again.

During winter, the system operates in heating mode, which may explain the temperature discomfort you experienced. Regarding the mineral water, we would like to inform you that for environmental reasons and as part of our commitment to reducing single-use products, bottled water has not been provided in rooms for several months. Instead, water fountains, along with glasses and carafes, are available on each floor for our guests’ convenience.
