Appreciated the concierge storing our luggage before check-in. Upon checking in later that evening the concierge was very helpful in getting our bags up to our room which was greatly appreciated as I had my hands full either pram. However, after that, things were very average. I had pre-organised a cot for my 6 mth old. This was confirmed twice before arrival so I didn’t question this again upon check in as I knew our booking clearly stated a cot was required in our double room and had already been confirmed at booking and the day before arrival. Upon getting to our room, discovered no cot has been set up. (Friends who checked in the day before had a cot set up in their room however never required one). Called reception and organised a cot - 30-40 mins later 2 young men appeared to set it up - one teaching the other how to build it. They were relatively quick to finish the job. Unfortunately there was no milk in the fridge to make tea and coffee. We ended up visiting IGA across the road to source some milk for our stay so we could enjoy the tea and coffee. Room service timing for dinner wasn’t bad, however my food was lukewarm and husband’s fish was way too crispy to enjoy. Breakfast portions via room service had very generous portions. Breakfast on the second day was good also, however the raspberries in our yoghurt and muesli were mouldy. The plumbing the room was questionable. The drain in the sink was very slow. The drainage during the day was very smelly even after the bathroom was serviced (housekeeping was great resetting the bathroom). The room faces the setting sun. It was very hot during our stay so upon check in and returning to the room it was very hot. The air conditioning did do a great job in regulating the temp when in the room. For the price, it was a very average stay and lots of room for improvement.
