Stayed overnight before early flight. Staff great, however floor 3 was in the process of being refurbished so felt more like a building site than a hotel on the way to the room. Couldn’t get the tele to work. No instructions to help. Had a meal in the dining room which was tasty, however some of our order didn’t arrive and by the time we grabbed staffs attention, we had finished our meal. They were quick to remove these items from our bill.

We arrived at 6pm but our room wasn't ready. We were given vouchers for a free drink which was a good gesture. Our room wasn't ready until 7pm but we had been given an upgrade to an executive room. Lovely room and a shame we had to leave so early for a flight!

Check-in took a few minutes longer than usual due to issues with the laptop on reception. Room was very basic. The separate toilet was not clean, there were visible splash marks on the wall. There were hairs on the bathroom floor and also on the base of the table in the bedroom, indicating that the room had not been vacuumed. Around the sink and bath were not entirely clean.
