I stayed with my family - my wife and daughter - for one night. It was ok. There was quite a lot of noise from the room above and the hallway, despite the rooms being advertised as sound proof. The room was also uncomfortably warm but the air con couldn’t be turned down any lower. The bathroom looked tired with a lot of mould in the bath sealant. Overall experience was okay. Not sure I’d recommend the hotel. Probably only on location grounds.

As usual a very nice stay. So easy to get to after a very long flight. Checkin very easy. Bed so comfortable for a 10 hour sleep. Just one point sadly on every visit no mater what time I went for breakfast the food is never hot, just warm.

Obviously good location which was why chosen and overall was comfortable. Would have preferred twin beds as sofa bed not the most comfortable though but I had to book what was available. Sofa bed also only had one bottom sheet.. suggest it should have a protection layer and maybe a topper for extra comfort. Also had to move sofa bed to close curtains as it was right up against window. Queen bed in comparison was very comfortable. Like the fact you can have large bottle of refillable filtered water which is necessary though in order to fill kettle as cannot be filled by the hand basin taps due to the design. Would have appreciated some biscuits..most hotels provide these and I think for the cost should be offered. A room service menu would have been nice as an option too or even an ice dispenser by the water could be considered. I think having the 24 hour bar is a great idea although we did not use it due to the time of arrival. I paid £40 for late check out which I had previously enquired about...as it has been a long day without sleeping and a delayed flight and hence a delayed check in time the option to have a late check out til 5 pm was appreciated and needed however on top of the room price made it an expensive stay. Maybe a smaller fee could be considered or the addition of some luxuries would ease the weight of costs eg biscuits/Nespresso Machine/robe. Toiletries were of good quality however and shower facilities good. Main issue of concern was that there was a very obvious unpleasant smell on the 6 th floor which started around room 618 and am not sure how far continued but certainly to room 310. This smell did not appear to be one of a temporary nature or from one particular room it was in the corridor and smelt very musty and very unpleasant. I didn't get chance to mention this as we did express check out but I would expect this is already a known problem. For the price paid I wouldn't expect such an awful smell and this would unfortunately put me off potentially booking again though the smell did not appear in the room. To end on a positive note the fridge was appreciated.

Good location but poor welcome. Didn’t feel valued as a silver client. Booked 2 double rooms through Accor app and were given one double and one twin on different floors. Only received a drinks voucher for one room and this was an issue at the bar. Had to sort this out myself with Reception who gave me a voucher for the drinks for the second room. The air conditioning did not work in the twin room which made for an uncomfortable and sleepless night. Restaurant service was not very good. All in all, a poor experience and we will not be returning.

Firstly, we booked in ok which is what we expected. Secondly we went for a meal in the restaurant which took a while for the server to take our order. The table whilst clean was very sticky and could see it was the cleaning product being used. We heard others saying the same which is not good as it has the opposite effect of thinking it’s a clean table. The steak arrive to my liking but was very fatty for a serloin steak is supposed to be at the price charged. The pepper sauce was delicious as was the steak, but had way too much fat on. The bar was good, friendly and had a good vibe to it although the coke ran out which ruined my brandy, although it was replaced after I complained. We went to bed and that is where it got a little strange. I hoped into the single bed near the window which is where the bed tipped into the window with me on it. At first I thought I had too much to drink. I righted the bed and started to drift off and guess what it happened again. At that point after my wife stopped laughing I called reception who came up and was amazed I was that one of the legs at the top of the bed was in the middle instead of the outside as they should be. That wasn’t the only issue as the TV would not show any programs as it was dated 2015. We were promptly moved to the 3rd floor which was undergoing decoration which wasn’t the best thing to find. That bed, tv and room was better, although the shower had seen better days and need clean silicone. Overall it was ok, but could have been far better. Regards Sean M.
