Friendly staff. Clean and well appointed rooms. Very stingy on the welcome drinks. I spent a lot on Accor to get Gold so limiting me to small cheap drinks sends a bad message.

During this stay the air, sink, refrigerator, and ceiling all broke. I had less than 24 total of a fully functioning room in a six day stay.

I arrived at 12.30, room not ready which is ok. At 14.30 I asked if I could have the room at 14.50 as I had a business video call to do. At 14.50 I set up my laptop at the lobby to do the call. At 14.55, receptionist informed me the room is ready, 5 min before official check-in . Great achievement that shows zero flexibility for a loyal Accor Platinum cliënt. During check-in no mention of where when breakfast is, no mention where I could have the welcome drink. In the room, in any hotels I have stayed a recognition of the Accor there has been a welcome letter or snacks, bottles of water or chocolate. At this Novotel, zero. In addition, lady responsible for stocking coffee stormed into the room without knocking the door. All in all, a very underwhelming experience and certainly, next trip to Paris will be in a different hotel.

Generally fine with this hotel, but this time was given a room next the lift. The lift sounded like it was broken and was woken up each time it moved during the night. I dont usually complain about these things, but this was at different level from what could be considered acceptable. Asked for a new room or earplugs - neither of which were available. Tried to follow up afterwards with the hotel and no response. So in the end, little sleep and a really poor stay - especially when being charged full price.
