We have been going to this hotel since 2017 following the massive refurbishment. Probably 10 times, twice this year and we did say in May we would not go back, but we booked again for a 3 night stay over Christmas. It is not on our door step either, it's an 7-hour round trip! Staff are very young and inexperienced and don't appear to have a specific role during breakfast service. The continental buffet has a range of very poor quality ham , turkey, cheese and sloppy scrambled eggs and no healthy cereal options. The fresh orange machine has also disappeared. 10-15 (at some points) person long queues for coffee/tea machine due to one being out of order for 2 days. No cutlery glasses or food topped up until requested. The entire experience is chaotic and not a nice start to the day. Dinner on the 25 December was also very disappointing and the Manager partially re credited our bill. With hotel guests and members using the Spa it’s far too over crowded and there appears to be no control in numbers. The steam rooms and sauna don't retain any heat as the doors are opened and closed constantly due to the sheer volume of people. The pool area is noisy, overcrowded and resembles a public swimming pool. In summary, it would appear that there has been no or very little investment since 2017. The bed linen is poor quality and the towels and robes need replacing. Needless to say it was our final stay.

As a long-standing guest since 2017, your feedback is particularly important to us, and we are truly sorry to read that this stay did not meet your expectations. We regret that the breakfast experience was disappointing. Your comments regarding organization, product quality, replenishment, and waiting times for hot beverages have been shared with our teams. While our staff is indeed relatively young, they are trained and supervised, and your remarks encourage us to reinforce guidance, structure roles more clearly during service, and improve overall fluidity. We are also reviewing the reliability of our equipment to avoid such inconveniences. Regarding the dinner on December 25th, we are sorry that this meal did not live up to expectations, despite the commercial gesture made by myself. Your feedback had already been forwarded to our restaurant team for further review on that same night. Concerning the spa and wellness area, we understand your disappointment with the level of occupancy and atmosphere. Your review has been shared with our Spa managers, so that they can address this issue internally. Finally, your remarks about linens, towels, bathrobes, and the perception of limited investment since 2017 have been carefully noted. Please note that we have not changed our bed linen supplier; we continue to use the standard Accor bed linen, which is the same quality used across all Ibis hotels in France. Continuous improvement remains a priority for us, and your comments will contribute to our ongoing reflections and future decisions. We sincerely regret that this stay did not restore your confidence and respect your decision.
