Double payment withheld for 2 weeks

The day before check-in, they withheld the amount of the reservation. Well. I thought everything was fine. I paid in advance but when I arrived at the hotel, they told me that this was a withholding and I had to pay again. The withheld amount would be returned to me. Ibis which imagines itself to be Hilton but Hilton somehow knows how to make such a withholding return to the card within an hour after check-out. The Ibis withholds for 2 weeks. Otherwise an ordinary Ibis but definitely not worth paying double the amount.

The rooms are exactly what we expected from IBIS and the people were extremely nice and helpful. There went pout of their wat to be helpful. It would have been nice to have an extra trash can in the bedroom. There was one in the bathroom, but for convince and extra one would have been nice. Not a deal breaker.
