My daughter was admitted to hospital and I needed somewhere to stay close by until she could come home. The hotel was great location wise and while I could have done without the expense it was reasonable. The room was clean and very comfortable. Only two issues neither of which are major. One I could have done with some extra tea/coffee but I just asked at reception. Two while I appreciate products are always more expensive in a hotel than the nearby store and that London in general is more expensive than the north. £3.50 for a Double Decker chocolate bar is too much. And at 11pm when all I needed was something comforting and unhealthy to eat it was too much.

I asked for a quiet room as I was staying as respite as an unpaid carer. I arrived to discover that not only did I have a room in a nice quiet part of the hotel, but that I had been given an upgrade, which was a lovely surprise. The room itself was very spacious and the bed was so comfortable. Unfortunately, due to the recent unseasonably warm weather, the heating/cooling unit was still on summer mode and my room was a little cold. I asked for an extra blanket at reception and got an extra sheet plus a heater delivered and set up in my room for the duration of my stay. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. I feel they really did go above and beyond in making sure my stay was comfortable.

Very basic rooms with simple desks. Very limited space to even open suitcases. Bathroom very small. Small enough to prevent proper sitting on the toilet because my knees hit the wall. (I'm 77 inches tall). The bed was firm and not overly comfortable. The room was very clean.

The accessibility room was adequate for our needs. Grandsons wedding the following day. The receptionist was helpful and took us to the room on arrival. Meal at the Banana Tree was very good, as was the breakfast in the morning. All staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed for 2 nights. We would stay at the Ibis Hotel again.

Ibis keeps it simple but that's all we needed for a one night stay. Super clean and felt newly renovated, better than some much more expensive places. Easy bus to the O2 (188 from stop C), which avoided massive queues for the tube after the show. Would definitely stay there again.

Bathrooms are dark and dingy, the decor is a bit tired and the beds are 2 lumps stuck together. Breakfast was in the lobby due to an issue with the kitchen.

The television switched itself on once or twice during the night showing a screen in French! Had to get out of bed to turn off the lights as it was the only way of extinguishing the long strip light. It meant we couldn’t simply turn off our bedside light. Other than that, everything was fine and we will almost certainly be back.

Easy to get around for its location; service from staff were well. Only complaint was room assigned must be close to some machinery plants with humming through the night.

We loved our stay at the ibis London Greenwich. It was not far from London Central via Ferry or DLR and was located a few blocks from the Maritime museum and the Prime Meridian. It is a short walk from the Cutty Sark and the Pedestrian Tunnel under the Thames. We will definitely be back.
