The staff were responsive by email to my inquiries about booking a room on the day of. I was worried that I might arrive and not find a place to stay and it was a short notice decision to book a room. I couldn't get any reply as to whether I could reserve a room by email, and they did not reassure me as to availability of rooms, only told me that there were no queen beds and there was a single bed room avbl. It was not a completely satisfying exchange. I then booked via the website, and got the alert that my credit card had been charged, yet when I arrived, I was told that there was no record of my having paid. It took some back and forth to learn that the charge had been made and then reversed, but only one staff member was aware of this, and not the one I was speaking with. The man was kind in all other ways, just hadn't been given enough information to help me out. My first impression of the room was the damaged carpet right at the entrance to my room. It looked quite a mess and set me up to feel uncertain about the condition I would find inside. However, the room was adequate, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom/shower were clean and nice. The place was quiet, which is a priority for me. Overall, okay for an overnight stay.

We understand that the state of the carpet at the entrance of your room was not up to the standard you expected, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We are also sorry for any inconvenience caused by the miscommunication among our staff. We will address this internally to ensure more seamless experiences for our guests in the future. While we currently do not offer complimentary coffee in the room price, our bar is open for drinks and small snacks, and we provide an express breakfast option starting at 4 am for early risers seeking a convenient start to their day.
