Friendly helpful staff. Not the best aroma in the Rooms. And dishes were not clean for breakfast. Aside from this all ok

Building is tired

Staff were extremely helpful. Our room wasn't available even though we arrived at 4pm but we were given complementary tea and coffee. The hotel is looking very tired but the rooms are clean and the beds were very comfortable.

Mixed bag, but not bad

We arrived just before 11pm and were offered only snacks and no clear direction for where we could eat so had to skip dinner. Not a great start. The room was small and had a tiny window so was quite dark. Generally, it felt a bit tired and in need of new carpet etc, but it was clean. The hotel is not clearly signed and the parking is hidden away from the road, but there are plenty of spaces. The building is attractive and in a scenic location at the end of a bridge over the river in Nevers and it's possible to cross the bridge on foot to reach the small city. Breakfast was good with a wide selection of good quality food including two hot choices of scrambled egg and bacon in addition to the usual cold options.
