Very nice hotel that is excellently situated in the town with a lovely garden to enjoy pre dinner drinks and an excellent restaurant attached. The hotel was very accomodating to us and our dog which was important to us.

We enjoyed our stay here. The room was comfy and we enjoyed having two bathrooms and toilets as a family of four. The restaurant was disappointing however and had gone down hill in recent years.

Very nice and charming hotel with friendly personell. We felt expected and welcome and enjoyed the room and all the amenities. The garden and bar invite for a nice aperitif and/or to settle down after a city stroll. What impressed us the most was the help that the hotel offered us in repairing a flat tire. Without their support we wouldn't have been able to organize the repair ourselves (especially not to easily and quickly). Many thanks for that.

The room has a very comfortable bed and a clean bathroom and toilet. The AC was truly a blessing during the hot summer season! And oh, the breakfast was definitely worth the price. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming!

Beautiful hotel, comfortable rooms, delicious breakfast in an amazing room. Parking was easy but expensive. We wanted to bring our bicycles in to store overnight in a storeroom to prevent them being stolen. In many hotels they store bicycles. We were told “no” and were disappointed. I was surprised to see dogs however were allowed in the hotel & I did not like having an animal in the breakfast room. Is it possible to change your policy on bicycles in the future?

The hotel is a magnificent building set in lovely gardens. The cleanliness and comfort provided was excellent. All the staff were extremely helpful, pleasant and efficient, hence adding to the enjoyment of our stay. The hotel is very well located being close to the centre of Bourges, its ancient buildings, gardens and restaurants.

Good location, about 15 min walk to town. Lovely garden to chill with a cocktail or two. Bathrooms could do with updating though.

All the comforts that make me a regular Mercure customer, but in an historical building and a lovely patio for refreshments, etc. Oh, and one of the most silent aircons I've enjoyed (in the heatwave) in a long time!

Overall, I thought your hotel was very good. Reception staff and hospitality 10/10. Look/Feel/Ambience/Decor 10/10. The room: Bed was very comfortable 10/10. The size of the room was a little small for the price 6/10. The shower was very disappointing. For the money charged guests should not expect a plastic cubicle 5/10. Tea & coffee making facilities, again, very poor for the room price 2/10. Would I stay again, probably not for the money charged. I've experienced better for less. You are aiming high end, but there are a number of "budget" elements that need to change. Plastic shower cubicle. Tea & Coffee facilities. Room cost per sq ft ratio.
