quite a lot from our company stayed over at Novetel for christmas do down the road, room was lovely, modern, clean , warm, lovely bath/ shower, plenty of soaps, towels etc, and the breakfast was gorgeous, plenty to choose from, continental, traditional fried breakfast, cereals, and various fruit/yoghurt /pastries, very tasty indeed, would highly recommend,

Worst night's sleep I've had in years - I've slept better in hospital beds! The mattress was little better than a padded plank, 2 of the pillows were compacted and the other two didn't seem to have the full amount of filling. The bedding smelled stale and greasy, as if they'd forgotten the laundry detergent or dried it next to a kitchen, and like the room hadn't been used in weeks. 'Superior' room my foot! The breakfast was disappointing. The sausages were anaemic and barely browned, my husband got a sausage that didn't seem fully cooked. The hash browns were bland and tasteless, again they didn't seem fully cooked. The bacon was dry and hard, and the black pudding was not fried but heated, so it tasted like dust and grease (and it looked like it would have been a decent quality black pudding if only it had been properly cooked)!

Oh dear, and you never mentioned anything to us at the time? This room was used the night before you and 3 times since you used it, (at the point of writing) with no issues. I am also reassured by the many positive comments on breakfast on the same morning. I'm sorry that you were disappointed with your stay.
