We are pleased to hear that your stay was generally positive, but we regret that the deposit process caused you any inconvenience. To clarify, the €50 deposit is actually a pre-authorization rather than a charge. This means that the amount is not debited from your account but rather held temporarily to allow any incidental charges to be added to your room bill without requiring multiple payments. If no additional charges were made, the pre-authorization is automatically released. Some banks may display this as a pending charge, which can give the impression of a debit, but in reality, it only affects your available spending limit and is not an actual withdrawal. The time it takes for the pre-authorization to disappear from your account depends on your bank\'s processing times, which unfortunately we cannot control.
