The hotel unfortunately has a dated feel to it. Lifts seem to take forever and clank. Nothing particularly stood out about the stay. Conference facilities were adequate.

Came for a conference, overall stay was acceptable, free minibar in the room was a nice touch, but there were lots of things that just took the shine off the experience. Breakfast looked great and had a good selection, but some of it was borderline inedible - the frittata smelled and tasted off, the black pudding was like a rubber beermat, the bacon was soggy, and everything was only lukewarm at best. The wifi was absolutely useless for the entire stay, not up to any kind of conference venue standard at all. On day 2 the entire conference centre was freezing cold too, so that was nice. Finally, £249/night for rooms that are normally under £100 is just a joke.

The main hotel facilities were fine, but the rooms are dated and grubby, I had broken tiles in the bathroom, the cistern had been broken, the furniture is tired. This hotel is in dire need of a refit.

The location is great , very close to tube station and bus stops , close to Sainsbury’s, Tesco express , Pret, Starbucks , and tons of other shops and restaurants.

The room you would expect from Novotel. Booking an extra night was no problem. The restaurant was nice, with good tasty food at a good price. However thought breakfast was overpriced at £20. There was no heating in my room and asked reception. They said they would send an engineer. Never saw the engineer, however it wasnt too much of problem as the weather warmed up. The tuck shop in the reception is a good idea.

The reception area is where the budget has been spent, whereas it's the rooms that desperately need refurbishment, the carpets, furniture and bathrooms are in a very poor state. The bed's mattress is one of the worse I've experienced. You're better off at a Premier inn or travel lodge, as a good nights sleep is more important than a 'fancy' lobby. For £250/night it's imply not good enough compared to near by hotels.

First room I walked into was not made up, with bedding strewn all over the room. Second room was very tired and worn down. Check in takes far too long. Room key easily stops working, and takes longer to fix than other hotels. Iron was broken.

Stayed for one night over the weekend as I was attended a business course being held at the hotel. When I asked to leave my luggage at the lunchtime break, I was pleasantly surprised to be given complimentary early check-in by the wonderful Shalini at the front desk. This was really thoughtful and really appreciated. The room was comfortable, clean, had all I needed for a very comfortable weekend stay and the Rituals toiletries in the bathroom were a lovely luxurious touch. I'll be back to stay at this hotel again, especially given its proximity to the local tube station. Thank you to all the team who worked so hard to make my stay enjoyable!

The front desk staff was lovely, but offered to let me check in early provided I gave her a TripAdvisor review, which I thought was not as elegantly as she could have managed that request. The room was very austere, which was fine, but the carpet was quite dirty and looked like it needed a clean. It looked like scuffs from the prior guests' wheels on their bag.

A pleasant comfortable stay, with friendly and efficient staff. Room was quiet and comfortable. It was an accessible room, and it was almost impossible to keep the water within the shower area - had to be very skilled with the shower. The carpet OUTSIDE the bathroom door was very wet on our first day (not our doing!) - not sure what had happened there.

The 2-single beds plus one-sofa-bed room has been very convenient for us. It’s very close to a Tesco superstore, which saved us some money. and it’s within minutes walk to a subway entrance.
