Accessible Rooms, a contradiction in terms

We attended an award ceremony on 5th Dec, arriving a day early. I have mobility issues and required an appropriate accessible room. The room itself was acceptable but placed on the 6th floor a long distance from the lift. I'm not a wheelchair user and found the long walk to the room arduous. So, a suggestion to architects.... I don't mind being on any floor but please have rooms close to the lifts, we aren't all wheelchair users. That apart, I couldn't fault the hotel. The breakfast was excellent, staff kind and very friendly, the function was beyond excellent, including the meal. If I was nitpicking, the music in the bar was way too loud with customers having to shout their conversations.

Guest relations made promises but didn't deliver

Be very careful here with giving a deposit. I gave a deposit, then they wrongfully charged expenses, when I informed them (assuming a simple error) they do not reply and to date I have not received my money back. I am now thinking this is a deliberate act! Rooms basic but OK Location is ideal between Heathrow and city centre. The neighbourhood itself has nice shops and restaurants.

As a platinum member, the hotel staffs treated me very well. Breakfast was good. Room was comfy. I was also upgraded to the executive floor. It was a really nice stay at Novotel London West.

Room facility is very simple and cheap. While I check-in there were an empty hand gel bottle and shower bottles. I were arranged near the lifts and always noisy.
