Although clean (most important) the room felt a bit dated. I was disappointed that there was no lift - I had arrived at 4 in the morning after much delay in my train journey and was feeling hot and tired. To then have to climb two flights of stairs with a heavy case was not a welcome experience. The staff were all friendly and helpful.

Hotel do not have lifts but 2 floors , no service to carry baggage,

A consistently welcoming and friendly team. Restaurant is perfectly fine. Pool and bar area are a good extra in the summer. Lots of parking. Ground floor, first floor and second floor rooms - no lift.

We are staying in this hotel for the third time on our trip over the course of a year and the last stay was the worst. Room we got was definitely more “worn” than previous ones, breakfast variety has shrunk (although in general it’s one of better breakfasts we had in different hotels). Looks like this hotel could use some renovation already. Other than that it’s a good location to stop by for a night, has free parking, friendly staff and in general quite cosy place.
